YEAR-END PARTY 2025
Theme: “Rooted in Faith, United in Service”

On 14 December 2025, the CTU Dumanjug ROTC Unit successfully held its Year-End Party at the CTU Dumanjug Gymnasium, with the theme “Rooted in Faith, United in Service.” The activity aimed to celebrate the year’s accomplishments while strengthening unity, moral values, and commitment to service among ROTC officers and cadets.

The program commenced with an opening prayer, emphasizing the importance of faith as the foundation of leadership and service. This was followed by a welcome address from our NSTP chairperson , highlighting the significance of the chosen theme in guiding the cadets’ conduct both in training and in daily life.

Various activities such as performances, games, fostering camaraderie and teamwork. These activities reflected the spirit of unity and selfless service, allowing cadets to bond beyond the rigors of military instruction.

The event also served as a moment of reflection and appreciation for the dedication, discipline, and perseverance of the cadets throughout the year. It reinforced the values of faith, unity, and service as essential pillars of the ROTC program.

The Year-End Party 2025 concluded successfully with a strengthened sense of fellowship and renewed commitment of the cadets to uphold the ROTC ideals, truly living out the theme “Rooted in Faith, United in Service.”

8th & 9th Military Instructions
CTU Dumanjug ROTC Unit
Cebu Technological University – Dumanjug Extension Campus

The CTU Dumanjug ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 8th and 9th Military Instructions at the Cebu Technological University Dumanjug Extension Campus. The training day began early, with the Officer’s Call Time at 0430H, ensuring that all officers were prepared for the full-day activities.

By 0650H–0720H, a thorough Inspection of Officers was carried out to ensure proper uniformity, discipline, and readiness for the training ahead. This was followed by the Cadet’s Call Time at 0730H–0740H, allowing all cadets to assemble and prepare for the day’s program. Attendance was recorded from 0750H to 0800H.

The morning training formally commenced with drills from 0800H–1000H, focusing on discipline, synchronization, and precision in movement—reflecting the growing proficiency of the corps. A short snack break followed from 1000H–1020H.

By 1020H–1145H, a comprehensive discussion on Map Reading was conducted, with Pvt Reynard Nacilla PA (Res) serving as the speaker. The session provided essential knowledge on terrain interpretation, symbols, grid references, and basic navigation—skills crucial for every cadet’s military competency. Attendance for dismissal was taken at 1145H–1200H, formally ending the morning instruction.

The afternoon session began with a Lunch Break from 1200H–1250H, giving cadets time to rest and prepare for the academic portion of the day. After attendance at 1250H–1300H, the corps proceeded to the Review for the Final Exam from 1300H–1330H.

The Final Exam was conducted from 1330H–1430H, assessing the cadets’ accumulated knowledge from previous military instructions. Checking of test papers and snacks took place from 1430H–1450H.

To reinforce discipline and mastery of military movement, drills resumed from 1450H–1545H. The day concluded with attendance for dismissal at 1545H–1600H, marking the official end of the 8th and 9th Military Instructions.

Through continuous drills, academic discussions, and assessments, the CTU Dumanjug ROTC Unit demonstrated commitment to excellence and readiness for higher responsibilities as future reserve officers.

23 NOVEMBER 2025 | 6TH and 7THMILITARY INSTRUCTION

On 23 November 2025, the CTU Dumanjug ROTC Unit conducted its 6th and 7th Military Instruction.

The activity began with the checking of attendance from 0750H to 0830H.
From 0830H to 1000H, cadets performed various drills, including harap harapan, lakad patakda, and manual of arms.

At 1020H–1050H, Cdt. Rey Mark Ydimne 1CL, delivered a discussion on Signal Communication.
This was followed by Cdt. Jess Anthony Baylosis 1CL, who discussed Individual Movement Techniques from 1050H to 1200H.

The afternoon session resumed at 1300H–1330H with Cdt. Joneven Lada 2CL, presenting a lesson on Interior Guard and Duty.
From 1330H to 1400H, Cdt. Kathlene Sucayre 2CL, discussed Basic Weapons Training.
Next, Cdt. Marietzchelle Inilog 2CL, covered Basic Survival from 1400H to 1430H.
Following this, Cdt. Jaylord Condiman 2CL, discussed Pre-Marksmanship Training from 1430H to 1500H.
Finally, from 1500H to 1530H, Cdt. Rosalinda Lañojan 2CL, delivered a discussion on Community Service.

The day’s activities formally concluded with the dismissal of cadets at 1530H–1600H.

16 November 2025 | 5th Military Instruction
CTU Dumanjug ROTC Unit

On 16 November 2025, the CTU Dumanjug ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 5th Military Instruction under the supervision of Sgt Roel J. Sagario (Inf) PA, Training NCO, together with Sgt Debie George Alpuerto PA (Res), Pvt Christine Sildora PA (Res), Pvt Reynard Nacilla PA (Res), and the ROTC Officers.

The activity officially began with the checking of attendance from 0750H to 0800H. This was followed by a review session from 0800H to 0830H, covering all previously discussed topics in preparation for the midterm examination.

From 0830H to 0930H, the cadets took their Midterm Examination. Immediately after, from 0930H to 1000H, Sgt Debie George Alpuerto PA (Res) facilitated a discussion on Military Leadership, highlighting essential leadership traits and their application within a military environment.

At 1000H to 1030H, the cadets conducted practical drills, including harap-harapan, lakad patakda, and pugay-kamay, to reinforce discipline, uniformity, and precision in movements.

From 1030H to 1200H, Sgt Roel J. Sagario (Inf) PA formally introduced himself to the corps, sharing his background, experience, and insights regarding military service and professionalism. The session concluded with the dismissal of cadets at 1200H.

The 5th Military Instruction was executed successfully and provided valuable knowledge, discipline, and experience to all participating cadets.

26 OCTOBER 2025 | FOURTH MILITARY INSTRUCTION
CTU DUMANJUG ROTC UNIT

On October 26, 2025, the CTU Dumanjug ROTC Unit successfully conducted its Fourth Military Instruction. The activity commenced with the checking of attendance from 0750H to 0810H.

From 0810H to 1010H, the cadets performed basic drills including harap-harapan, tikas pahinga, pugay kamay, and lakad lakaran, manual of arms,which aimed to enhance their discipline, synchronization, and military bearing.

Subsequently, from 1010H to 1145H, a discussion on Philippine Military History and Military Justice was facilitated by Sgt Airyl Alcorin PA (Res). The session provided valuable insights into the evolution of the Philippine military and the importance of upholding justice and discipline within the armed forces.

The activity concluded with the dismissal of cadets at 1200H, marking another productive and meaningful ROTC training day.

18 OCTOBER 2025 | GOLDEN NOIR GALA
Department of Education | Acquaintance Party

On October 18, 2025, the CTU Dumanjug ROTC Unit attended the Golden Noir Gala organized by the Department of Education as part of their acquaintance party. The ROTC unit was present to render colors, symbolizing honor, respect, and unity during the event.

Their participation showcased the discipline, professionalism, and commitment of the CTU Dumanjug ROTC cadets to uphold the values of patriotism and service, even beyond regular military training. The presence of the unit added formality and pride to the occasion, reminding everyone of the importance of respect for the flag and the spirit of camaraderie within the institution.

19 OCTOBER 2025 | THIRD MILITARY INSTRUCTION
CTU DUMANJUG ROTC UNIT

On October 19, 2025, the CTU Dumanjug ROTC Unit successfully conducted its Third Military Instruction through an online class. This adjustment was made due to the suspension of face-to-face classes following the recent earthquake, as school authorities needed to ensure the safety and structural integrity of all campus buildings.

The session began with the checking of attendance from 0700H to 0730H. By 0800H to 1000H, Sgt Vandyke Gultiano PA (Res) discussed Military Customs and Traditions 1, emphasizing discipline, respect, and proper conduct expected of every cadet. This was followed by Pvt James Francis Alsa PA (Res), who shared insights on Core Values and Values Development, reminding cadets of the moral foundation and ethical behavior that define a true servant-leader.

The online instruction concluded with the dismissal at 1100H, marking another productive and meaningful learning experience for the CTU Dumanjug ROTC cadets despite the challenges brought by unforeseen circumstances.
