Under Proclamation No. 397, November 3-9 is observed as Criminology Profession Week — a time to honor the values that define every criminologist: service, compassion, and integrity.

This year, instead of conducting the usual activities, the Junior Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines–the official and only Student Body Organization under the College of Criminal Justice Education-University of Cebu at Pardo & Talisay Campus, chose to live out the true spirit of the criminology profession by extending help to the Criminology students who were greatly affected by Typhoon Tino. Relief goods and essential items were distributed as a simple way to bring comfort and support during these challenging times.

This initiative reflects what it truly means to be a criminology student — standing in solidarity with others, extending help where it is needed most, and living out the principles of our profession beyond the classroom.

It lives in every gesture of care, every act of service, and every moment we choose to help. As one UCPT CCJE family, we continue to move forward with unity, strength, and purpose — serving not only with discipline and knowledge, but with genuine compassion and heart.💜

After a thorough investigation, all evidence points to our CCJE Faculty as the true masterminds behind every accomplished criminology student. From teaching theories to guiding us through real-life cases, they have continuously exhibited professionalism, integrity, and passion for justice. 🕵️‍♂️📚

Their lessons are the clues that shape our minds. Their dedication is the fingerprint that marks our future. And their wisdom — the final piece that completes the puzzle of our journey as future protectors of the law.

But among these outstanding minds, one name stands as the lead investigator, the commander of knowledge, and the ultimate guiding force — Ma’am Dean, our chief of wisdom and discipline. Her leadership has been the strongest weapon in molding disciplined, competent, and compassionate criminology students.

To our mentors, investigators, and role models — thank you for solving the toughest cases: our confusion, doubts, and fears, and your patience in every interrogation (a.k.a. recitation 😅). Today, we honor you for your relentless pursuit of truth and knowledge! 💜

The verdict is clear: You are guilty... of being the best mentors ever!

✨ A night worth remembering! ✨

Last September 20, 2025, the CCJE Acquaintance Party brought together criminology students from different year levels for an evening filled with laughter, music, and memories that will last a lifetime. It wasn’t just a party—it was a celebration of unity, friendship, and the strong bond that makes CCJE a true family.

From the stunning entrances and lively performances to the energy on the dance floor and the cheers that filled the night, every moment reflected the spirit of camaraderie and the excitement of being together once again. The event reminded us that beyond the books and lectures, college life is also about creating memories, building connections, and cherishing experiences that shape who we are.

Here’s a glimpse back at the highlights of the night—an evening that showcased not only our elegance and creativity, but also the heart of CCJE: solidarity, joy, and the promise of more moments like these to come. 🎥💫

📸 Snapshots of Service & Learning | OJT at Cebu City Transportation Office 🚦

From September 1–12, 2025, our interns were deployed at the Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) where they experienced the real challenges of traffic management and public service. Assisting pedestrians, monitoring highways, and helping ensure smooth traffic flow gave them valuable lessons in patience, discipline, and responsibility.

On their last day, they were honored to receive their Certificates of Completion from CCTO, a meaningful recognition of their efforts and dedication throughout their training. With gratitude, our interns extend their heartfelt thanks to the CCTO team for the guidance, support, and opportunity to serve and learn outside the four walls of the classroom.

Kudos, Batch Malakas! 💜✨

🎉✨ A PROUD MOMENT FOR UC Pardo and Talisay – College of Criminal Justice Education! ✨🎉

Congratulations to our newest Registered Criminologists for successfully passing the August 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE)! 💜✨️

This remarkable achievement is a testament to your perseverance, countless sacrifices, and unwavering determination. With a 100% overall performance and a 100% passing rate for retakers, UCPT once again proves that excellence and hard work truly pay off.
