Under Proclamation No. 397, November 3-9 is observed as Criminology Profession Week — a time to honor the values that define every criminologist: service, compassion, and integrity.
This year, instead of conducting the usual activities, the Junior Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines–the official and only Student Body Organization under the College of Criminal Justice Education-University of Cebu at Pardo & Talisay Campus, chose to live out the true spirit of the criminology profession by extending help to the Criminology students who were greatly affected by Typhoon Tino. Relief goods and essential items were distributed as a simple way to bring comfort and support during these challenging times.
This initiative reflects what it truly means to be a criminology student — standing in solidarity with others, extending help where it is needed most, and living out the principles of our profession beyond the classroom.
It lives in every gesture of care, every act of service, and every moment we choose to help. As one UCPT CCJE family, we continue to move forward with unity, strength, and purpose — serving not only with discipline and knowledge, but with genuine compassion and heart.💜
