The 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗧𝗜𝗣) 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗤𝗙 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝟱 – 𝗗𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 was conducted at the 𝘜𝘚𝘑-𝘙 𝘔𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘮 on 𝘈𝘶𝘨𝘶𝘴𝘵 26, 2026. The activity served as an avenue to provide students with important information about the training program, its requirements, and the potential benefits it can offer in terms of education and future career opportunities.

The speaker was 𝘋𝘳. 𝘊𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘬 𝘏𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘺 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦, TESDA Scholarship Focal Person, together with other TESDA personnel who provided valuable information and guidance to the Diploma Program students regarding the training program, its requirements, and its advantages.

The University President, 𝘙𝘦𝘷. 𝘍𝘳. 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘰 𝘚. 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘻 𝘑𝘳., 𝘖𝘈𝘙, also delivered words of inspiration to the students. He encouraged them to take their studies and training seriously, develop their skills, and make the most of the opportunities provided.

Engr. Liez C. Gonzales is set to conduct her Final Thesis Defense for her Master of Engineering major in Industrial Engineering.

Her research is entitled “𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘏𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘈𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘍𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘝𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘴.” Using 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘌𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘔𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 (𝘚𝘌𝘔) to examine the relationships among these factors and how they may affect safe food handling practices.

Engr. Gonzales is currently a faculty member of Cebu Technological University–Argao Campus, under the Industrial Engineering Department. She teaches subjects including Methods of Research, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, and Organizational Management.

As she reaches this important stage of her graduate studies, we wish Engr. Liez C. Gonzales a meaningful and productive final defense.

𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗯𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱!

The School of Engineering and Architecture officially begins the First Semester of the Academic Year 2026 - 2027 with a proactive faculty meeting and onboarding session.

The session began with an orientation to GradeChum from their CEO, Mr. Jemar Jude Maranga. GradeChum is an innovative tool designed to aid instructors in their daily work by automating the checking and grading of activities, assignments, and quizzes. The faculty members positively participated in the guided walk-through and shared feedback on the newly introduced tool. The session was then followed by a faculty meeting in which they discussed updates, plans, and the semester's faculty load.

With teamwork and collaboration, the School of Engineering and Architecture looks forward to a productive and successful semester ahead.
