One night. Joyful voices. One beautiful harmony. ⊹ ࣪ ˖

Polyphony came alive as we celebrated new faces, new friendships, and the unique stories that make each of us part of the SOPHIA Organization.

The opening remarks began with the SOPHIA President Ernessa Calo, where it then led to a fashion runway showcasing the many wonderful outfits of each and every year’s effort to make this party a blast. ✮⋆˙

As the final song played, Dr. Ranie Villaver delivered the Closing Remarks, reminding us that every voice has a place in our shared symphony.

To everyone who sang, danced, laughed, connected, and made the night unforgettable—thank you for being part of the music. 💿🪩

A special thank you to Atty. Amando Virgil Ligutan for his generosity and kindness toward the SOPHIA Organization. We truly appreciate your thoughtfulness and support in making our celebration even more special. ♡

Until the next beat, Thinkers. ᥫ᭡

IN PHOTOS | On September 12, 2026, the SOPHIA Organization of the Department of Philosophy USC, co-facilitated with Buddhas Light International Association (BLIA), held their Community Extension Service (CES) at Fo Guang Shan Chu Un Temple, Barangay Guadalupe.

The adults' session opened with a talk on Pertinent Environmental issues by Mr. Jerry Ferraren Pescadero, wherein he discussed about ongoing concerns in the environment which deserve more close attention by the community.

Meanwhile, the kids' session opened with a brief recap on the Three Acts of Goodness, followed by a reading of the story "Up In Flames", a story that emphasizes even the smallest of actions can lead to consequences and that we must practice mindfulness and responsibility of our choices. The children then took part in a writing activity where they listed down the lessons they learned from the story and then shared their ideas with one another.

The activities ultimately aimed to cultivate a deeper respect for the order in people's lives, their environment, and among the people around them.
