In a powerful display of unity and devotion, the members of Class October 2025 (Batch Callidus) and Class 2026 (Batch Solaris) gathered at the San Vicente Ferrer Parish Church for a Holy Mass as part of their spiritual and faith-based preparation for the upcoming Nurse Licensure Examination on August 29 and 30, 2026. Surrounded by stunning stained glass imagery and the warmth of shared purpose, these future registered nurses came together not only to seek divine guidance, clarity, and strength for the rigorous boards ahead, but also to lift each other up in solidarity. With smiles, raised gestures of victory, and hearts full of hope, this memorable gathering serves as a heartwarming testament that beyond their tireless study sessions and clinical practice, their ultimate preparation is rooted in faith, resilience, and unwavering community support as they step closer to realizing their noble calling.

The College of Nursing Student Body Organization invites all PNLE 2026 takers to join us in prayer as they prepare to take this important step toward becoming registered nurses. The Holy Mass will be held on August 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at San Vicente Ferrer Parish - Franciscans, Urgello Street, Sambag 2, Cebu City, Cebu. May this celebration be a source of strength, wisdom, peace, and courage as our future nurses face the examination they have prepared and worked hard for. The College of Nursing proudly celebrates our student researchers for securing 3rd Place in the Student Category โ€“ Infographics Competition during the PNA 90th Foundation Anniversary, Annual Convention, and General Assembly. Out of 20 entries, the research entitled โ€œAwareness and Preventive Practices on Sexually Transmitted Diseases among Teenagers of a Tertiary Institution in Cebu City,โ€ led by George Angelica B. Celebrado under the guidance of Dr. Adriel Arman Pizarra, earned this well-deserved recognition.

This achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and passion of our student researchers and mentors. Congratulations on bringing pride to the SWU PHINMA College of Nursing!

Last July 31, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 8:43 PM, the CNSBO Creatives Committee held its 2nd Regular Meeting to discuss updates and plans for the committee. The agenda included the Pictorial Schedule of Officers, Content Ideas, Publication Materials Task Assignments, Nutribundle, Other Matters, and Documentation. Through organized discussions and coordination, the committee continues to work together in keeping our creative tasks on track and supporting the upcoming activities of the Nursing Student Body Organization.
