The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering proudly congratulates our eight new Registered Electrical Engineers for achieving a 100% passing rate in the April 2026 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination.

While this recognition comes a little later, excellence is always worth celebrating. With their recognition tarp now displayed at the university facade, we are delighted to once again honor this remarkable milestone and recognize the dedication, perseverance, and hard work that led to their success.

To our newest REEs, may this achievement serve as the beginning of a meaningful and impactful engineering career. Continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and service as you contribute to the advancement of our communities and the engineering profession.

✨ DEEE Turnover Ceremony ✨

On June 18, 2026, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering held a meaningful turnover ceremony to mark the transition of leadership.

We warmly welcome Dr. Alberto Banacia as the new Department Chair, succeeding Dr. Edward Querikiol, whose dedicated service and leadership have greatly contributed to the department’s growth and success.

The ceremony was initiated by Ms. Brenette Abrenica, Director of the Human Resources Management Office, and was graced by the presence of Dr. Rosana Ferolin, Dean of the School of Engineering, along with the esteemed faculty members of the department.

This event symbolizes continuity, collaboration, and the shared commitment to excellence in engineering education. Congratulations to both leaders as they embark on new chapters of service and leadership! 🎉

The University of San Carlos School of Engineering has been certified as a Tier 1 institution by the PTC Tier Classification System (TCS).

This milestone secures international recognition for our engineering programs under the Washington Accord. Additionally, USC will be listed in the prestigious Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP) register.

The University of San Carlos School of Engineering has been certified as a Tier 1 institution by the PTC Tier Classification System (TCS).
