One week ago, we welcomed some of the country's leading public relations professionals to Cebu—and together, we proved that meaningful conversations don't just happen in the capital. They happen wherever passionate communicators gather. 🌿

The Steward the Story PR Caravan brought together students, educators, practitioners, and industry leaders for a day of learning, dialogue, and collaboration on the future of strategic communication and public relations.

Hosted by the SWU PHINMA School of Design + Communication, in partnership with the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), co-presented by Globe, and co-organized by the Junior Communication Designers Guild (JCDG), the event created opportunities for students to engage directly with professionals whose work continues to shape the communications industry.

More than a conference, it was a reminder of what strategic communication is all about: listening before speaking, understanding before persuading, and stewarding stories with purpose and responsibility.

To everyone who joined us—our speakers, partners, faculty, alumni, and especially our JCDG officers and Strategic Communication students who worked tirelessly behind the scenes—thank you for helping make this milestone possible.

We are honored to partner with the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) as it brings its flagship events outside Metro Manila for the very first time.

Hosting MAKI+FIESTA, PRSP Professional Development Training, and the Steward the Story PR Caravan at SWU PHINMA School of Design + Communication reflects our shared commitment to developing communicators who are strategic, ethical, and equipped to navigate an ever-evolving digital forest.
