๐Œ๐ซ. ๐’๐œ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ž๐ฅ๐ ๐€๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐š๐ซ๐›๐ž๐ฌ, the representative for Essay Writing, made his pen bleed with powerful words and ideas, expressing his thoughts through the art of writing. Meanwhile, the representative for Lesson Plan Writing, ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž ๐†๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐จ๐ฅ๐ข, demonstrated her ability to take control of the task with grace, confidence, and conviction.

August 9, 1945 is remembered as the day Nagasaki was hit by an atomic bomb during World War II. The bombing caused great destruction and took the lives of many innocent people. Many families lost their loved ones, and the people of Nagasaki faced difficult years after the war.

This tragic event reminds us that war does not only affect soldiers, but also ordinary people and families. The stories of those who experienced Nagasaki help us understand the real cost of war and why remembering history is important.

Today, Nagasaki is known as a city that continues to promote peace. As we remember August 9, 1945, may we honor the people who lost their lives and learn from the past. May their story remind us to choose peace, kindness, and understanding instead of war.

The First USSSO General Assembly for S.Y. 2026 - 2027 successfully brought our members closer together!

Our members embraced every surprise pasiaw-siaw and challenge our officers threw their way โ€” dancing together, joking together, and laughing together; each smile and laugh shared between them making their day a little lighter.

The Assembly also covered topics like the Organization's Constitution and By-Laws, updating members on recent changes.

A surprise birthday cake and celebration for our 4th Year USSSO Representative, Ms. Aballe, ended the Assembly in spectacular fashion!

We thank all of our Officers and Hon. JP for putting in so much effort beyond the bare minimum, and for making the Assembly into something that all of us members would love!

Today, the United Social Science Students Organization (USSSO) officers came together to prepare the designs and materials for the upcoming USSSO General Assembly 2026, which will be held this Saturday at Room 405, University of Cebuโ€“Jones Campus. Alongside these preparations, the officers also worked on organizing and enhancing the USSSO bulletin board to keep our Ka-SocStud community informed and engaged.
