It's a holly jolly Pasko sa CTU 2023

For the first time, the front facade of the new Administration Building of Cebu Technological University has been unveiled to the public eye during the Pasko sa CTU 2023 kick off celebration at the Main Campus on December 1, 2023.

Among the highlights were the presentation of the Christmas Belen, display of Christmas parols, and the simultaneous lighting of Christmas Tree and street lights.

In her opening remarks, Dir. Mira Nona Flores, campus director and secretary of the board of regents, divined a message of unity, camaraderie, and love before the students, faculty, and administrative officials. An inspirational talk was also delivered by Rev. Fr. Michael Monsanto, assistant procurator general of the Congregation of the Pilgrim Brothers of St. Francis. After, Dr. Jabin Deguma, faculty of the College of Education, presented a Christmas story.

The activity was capped off by a community singing of all-time favorite Pinoy Christmas classics led by the CTU Choristers with performances by Prof. Adrian Duites, Arch. Ann Frances Cabigon, and Dr. Dennis Plando.

The Pasko sa CTU 2023 was made possible because of the vision, passion and dedication of Campus Director, Dir. Mira Nona Maniego Flores and the trailblazing legacy of former president and now Executive Vice President for Operations and the OIC President Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta, Jr.

Advance Merry Christmas, CebuTech!

The Main Campus is scheduled for the internal quality audit in preparation for the International Standard Organization (ISO) audit this third quarter of the year.

IQA matters were discussed during the first day led by the newly-designated campus document controller Baby Anne Damgo, together with campus dean of instruction Dr. Imelda.Villarin and assistant campus director Dr. Christian Ray Licen. Furthermore, college deans and heads of offices were asked about the extent of compliance based on the different audit reports.

The second day comprised academic matters concerning the opening of classes. Highlights include discussion and tasking for the opening salvo and general orientation program for the first year/transferees/shiftees, extended enrollment contingency measures, and other matters. Select student leaders from the Supreme Student Government (SSG) were also around to present their input.

Bannering under the slogan "High Five CebuTech 5.0" which signifies future directions of CebuTech Main towards Industry 5.0, campus director Prof. Mira Nona Flores expressed her optimism and commitment in ensuring quality services and instructional delivery for AY 2023-2024.

Indeed, exciting times are ahead for CebuTech-Main!
