๐๐๐๐: In a thrilling display of mastery and teamwork, two talented teams from the University of San Jose โ Recoletos, members of the Le Cercle Culinaire, made their mark at the ๐๐๐๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐ก๐จ๐ง ๐
๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐๐ก๐จ๐ฐ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ง held at The Mactan Newtown on August 8, 2025 โ bringing home both the ๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ง๐๐ซ-๐๐ฉ (TEAM 1) and ๐๐ก๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐จ๐ง (TEAM 2) titles.
With only one hour on the clock to create a main course worthy of three esteemed judges, our Josenian culinarians rose to the challenge with precision, creativity, and the unmistakable flavors inspired by Cebuโs world-famous lechon.
Team 1 impressed with their ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐๐งรง๐๐ฅ๐, a creative fusion of local comfort flavors with a French twist. Team 2 wowed the panel with their bold and flavorful ๐๐๐๐ก๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฑ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ๐, a dish that beautifully married Cebuโs iconic lechon with vibrant Mexican influences.
This back-to-back win is a celebration of skill, unity, and the relentless pursuit of excellence that defines USJ-R and LCC. Competing as two teams but cooking with one heart, they proved that when passion leads the way, success is always on the menu.
