‎Following the PaCECgarbo 2026 recognition rites, Cebu Eastern College (CEC) teaching and non-teaching personnel convened at the Elementary Covered Ground (ECG) on August 14, 2026, for their weekly Zumba and volleyball session under the Teachers and Staff Wellness and Sports Engagement Program.

‎Cebu Eastern College (CEC) honored three graduates who secured spots in the Top 10 of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) during the "PaCECgarbo" recognition ceremony on August 14, 2026, at the CEC Upper Gymnasium.
‎
‎Jessa Candol Junio, Jenny Rose Aparre Daro, and Eurica Econas Labapiez—all graduates of the elementary level—brought pride to the Easternian community with their stellar performances.
‎
‎Junio ranked third nationwide with a rating of 94.40 percent. Daro placed fifth with 93.80 percent, while Labapiez secured the 10th spot with 92.80 percent. This marks the first time in CEC's 111-year history that three graduates made it to the Top 10 in a single board examination.
‎
‎For their achievement, each topnotcher received a plaque of recognition and a financial incentive of P100,000 from the institution.
‎
‎The trio's success follows the trailblazing feat of Julie Marcojos Pañares, who landed in the Top 5 of the June 2025 Special LEPT (Elementary Level) and became CEC's first-ever board topnotcher.
‎
‎Dr. Darlene E. Tan-Rivera, HR Coordinator, introduced the honorees during the program. The topnotchers received their plaques alongside their parents, assisted by School Director Mr. Frederick A. Ong III and the Board of Trustees.
‎
‎Moreover, Cebu City Mayor Hon. Nestor Archival Sr. graced the occasion and challenged the Easternian community to sustain the momentum and produce more topnotchers in the future.

‎The ceremony also recognized the mentors behind the achievers—Ms. Marichu Abregana, Mr. Harlly Dionela, Mr. Gerold De La Peña, and Prof. Charmaine T. Candia—who received plaques of appreciation for their role in shaping the topnotchers' success.
‎
‎Prof. Mariell Carosus delivered the closing remarks, inspiring future educators to strive for excellence. The event concluded with a group photo of guests, parents, mentors, and students.

‎Cebu Eastern College (CEC) conferred plaques of recognition to its three topnotchers in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) during the PaCECgarbo awarding ceremony on Friday, August 14, at the CEC Upper Gymnasium.

‎Topping the honorees were Top 3 placer Jessa Junio, Top 5 placer Jenny Rose Daro, and Top 10 placer Eurica Labapiez, who each received plaques from CEC administrators and the Board of Trustees. Each topnotcher also received a Php 100,000 cash incentive.
‎
‎Also recognized were the topnotchers' former high schools – Don Vicente Rama Memorial National High School, Cebu City Don Carlos A. Gothong Memorial National High School, and Toong Integrated School – whose representatives received plaque of commendation for their role in shaping the honorees.
‎
‎CEC likewise honored the topnotchers’ previous instructors – Mr. Harlly Dionela, Ms. Marichu Abregana, Prof. Charmaine T. Candia, and Mr. Gerold De La Peña – for their contributions to the topnotchers' success.
