The University of San Jose-Recoletos School of Education proudly congratulates Bernardito Jose “Joebern” Laurente for placing Top 10 in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.

A graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in General Science, Joebern completed his degree magna cm laude and ranked third overall in the college—a testament to his discipline, excellence, and deep commitment to the teaching profession.

This achievement is even more meaningful as Joebern becomes only the second undergraduate Science major from the USJ-R School of Education to become a LET topnotcher. He also continues the Josenian legacy as the second consecutive Josenian LET topnotcher, following Elaiza Son’s Top 9 finish in September 2025, and the sixth overall Josenian Educator topnotcher since 2022.

This remarkable streak affirms the School of Education’s unwavering commitment to forming competent, compassionate, and values-driven educators who bring honor to the University and serve the nation through excellence in teaching.

USJ-R ELECTION UPDATE:

The Commission on Elections is having a HYBRID ELECTION for the 45th Congress Supreme Student Council General Elections. This specific mode of election will both cater on-site voting through the laboratories in the Main, Basak, and Quadricentennial Campus and online voting through Student Information System (SIS).

The Election Day will start at 8:00 am today.
