OFFICIAL ADVISORY
VOLCANIC ASHFALL SAFETY REMINDERS
The MHAM Student Council is aware of the reported volcanic ashfall affecting parts of Cebu and is currently coordinating with the MHAM Administration regarding the situation. While awaiting further announcements and instructions, we encourage all students, faculty, and staff to remain calm, prioritize their safety, and observe the following precautionary measures:
1. Wear a face mask (preferably N95/KN95) when going outdoors.
2. Stay indoors whenever possible and keep doors and windows closed.
3. Protect your eyes. Wear eyeglasses if available, and avoid rubbing your eyes if exposed to ash.
4. Travel only when necessary. Exercise caution while driving, as volcanic ash may reduce visibility and make roads slippery.
5. Stay informed through official advisories issued by PHIVOLCS, PAGASA, and your local government unit.
Our health and safety remain the priority. We encourage everyone to remain calm, exercise caution, and refrain from spreading unverified information.
In the meantime, we await further announcements and instructions from the MHAM Administration regarding class and campus operations. Please continue to monitor the MHAM Collegeโs official communication channels for updates.
Stay safe, and let us all look out for one another.
