SINGING PRACTICE | Our Grade 5 Bosconians sang the song "Lord We Gather Today" during their singing practice schedule this week.

The singing practices are part of the long-standing Bosconian tradition of the weekly class masses and singing practice, wherein our Bosconians have 1 hour per week for worship and spiritual nourishment.

Here in DBTC, we nourish our Bosconians academically and spiritually.

The Parents’ Assembly and Viewing of Cards is on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

Schedule:
• 7:00 AM – Registration
• 8:00 AM – Holy Mass
• 9:30 AM – Salesianity Input
• 10:00 AM – Parents’ Meeting with the Adviser and Classroom Coordinator in the classroom

| CLASS SCHEDULE ADVISORY
as of September 21, 2026, 9:00 pm

Following the official advisory of the City Mayor on the suspension of classes, the following adjustments will be made to our schedule for tomorrow, September 22, 2026:

1. BED will have asynchronous classes through Quipper. However, teachers are requested to report onsite tomorrow to finalize the grades.

2. College Department will continue with the Integration Day. The Midterm Examinations will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.

3. TVET will have no onsite classes.

4. All employees will continue with their usual onsite work and office operations.

1ST WIN! | CESAFI FOOTBALL ⚽🐺🔥

The Don Bosco Technical College Greywolves opened their CESAFI Football Secondary Division campaign with a hard-fought 3–1 victory over debutants PAREF Springdale Titans!

The Pack came out firing as Axel Jade Noaja struck early in the first half to give Don Bosco a 1–0 lead at the break.

The second half was a different battle—physical, intense, and toe-to-toe. The Titans found the equalizer to make it 1–1, putting the Greywolves under pressure.

But the Pack didn't back down. They responded.

Don Bosco regrouped, raised the intensity, and fought their way back into the lead. Earl Rey Amistad restored the advantage before Ray Abuzo sealed the victory with a late goal.

LEARNING TODAY, SAVING LIVES TOMORROW!

Our Grade 3–4 Bosconians proudly participated in the “9/11 Fire Square Roadshow”, organized by the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7, held at SM Seaside City Cebu.

This educational activity gave our Bosconians new learning on fire safety, emergency preparedness, and the proper use of the 911 Emergency Hotline.

We thank the BFP Region 7 for empowering our students with life-saving knowledge and promoting a culture of safety in our community.

FEAST OF THE EXALTATION OF THE HOLY CROSS

Today, we celebrate the feast of the exaltation of the Holy Cross. When Moses lifted up the bronze serpent over the people, it was a foreshadowing of the salvation through Jesus when He was lifted up on the Cross. Our Mother Church sings of the triumph of the Cross, the instrument of our redemption. To follow Christ we must take up His cross, follow Him and become obedient until death, even if it means death on the cross. We identify with Christ on the Cross and become co-redeemers, sharing in His cross. Originally, this feast commemorates the recovery of the Holy Cross, which had been placed on Mt. Calvary by St. Helena and preserved in Jerusalem, but then had fallen into the hands of Chosroas, King of the Persians. The precious relic was recovered and returned to Jerusalem by Emperor Heralius in 629.

O God, who willed that your Only Begotten Son should undergo the Cross to save the human race, grant, we pray, that we, who have known his mystery on earth, may merit the grace of his redemption in heaven. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.
