Please join us in prayer for the eternal repose of Bro. Lamberto Tena, SDB, and for consolation and strength for his confreres, family, and all those who mourn his passing.

POST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION | COLLEGE DEPARTMENT

The college department celebrated Don Bosco's 211th birthday.

The students participated in a carousel activity, taking on different games and challenges inspired by the life, mission, and experiences of St. John Bosco.

From one station to another, everyone had the chance to learn more about our beloved Father and Teacher of Youth.

We also celebrated the 211th Birthday of St. John Bosco.

HAPPY 211TH BIRTHDAY, DON BOSCO!!! 🥳🎉

Today, we celebrate the 211th birthday of our dear Father and Founder, Saint John Bosco! We pray that under his guidance and teachings, we may attain our shared goals for DBTC as we continue this journey.

Giovanni Melchior Bosco was born on August 16, 1815, to Francis Bosco and Mama Margaret. He founded the Salesian Society, which is now present in more than 130 countries across the globe.

Let us celebrate this day and give thanks to the Lord for the great gift of Saint John Bosco.

Outgoing President Carl Joshua Santos presided over the proceedings, alongside Mrs. Mary Ann Bono, Scholarship Coordinator and Registrar.

SOLEMNITY OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

Today, we celebrate the solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which celebrates the dogma of the Assumption declared by Pope Pius XII in the apostolic constitution Munificentissimus Deus, that reads: "We pronounce, declare, and define it to be a divinely revealed dogma: that the Immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory."

Almighty ever-living God, who assumed the Immaculate Virgin Mary, the Mother of your Son, body and soul into heavenly glory, grant we pray, that, always attentive to the things that are above, we may merit to be sharers of her glory. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

Through interactive exhibits, our Bosconians sparked their curiosity, deepened their scientific thinking, and discovered the wonders of the world around them. This enriching experience encouraged them to develop a greater appreciation for science and innovation.
