National University (NU) has officially strengthened its ties with DATEM Foundation, Inc. (DFI), the corporate social responsibility arm of DATEM Inc., through the launch of the NU–DFI Scholarship Program.

This collaboration marks a significant evolution in their long-standing partnership—expanding from its continuous support of NU’s student-athletes toward academic empowerment and nation-building.

Chosen from over 140 applications, their project C.O.R.E. Health has earned recognition from the Embassy of Switzerland in the Philippines and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines—placing them among the country’s most promising innovators in digital health and technology.

Guided by their coach, Sir Leo Bermudez, Computer Science Program Chair, the team advances to the final program this May 19–21 in Makati to represent NU Cebu on a global stage. 🌍🔥
