The En Banc deliberated on matters central to the Commissionโs electoral mandate, foremost of which was the Official Election Guidelines for the 2026 Special Elections, scheduled on September 18, 2026. The Commission likewise laid the groundwork for its First Semester Member Development & Training, reinforcing its commitment to the continuing formation of its electoral personnel.
Further deliberations covered the proposed Oath-Taking Ceremony for newly appointed U-COMELEC Officers and Staffers, together with College Council Officers who were unable to take their oath during the Unified Induction Ceremony last May. The En Banc also advanced its preparations for the 2026 GRASSO General Elections, an electoral exercise intended for the Universityโs graduating school students, and discussed initial plans for the Commissionโs 1st General Assembly for the First Semester of A.Y. 2026โ2027.
With the consideration of additional matters and policy proposals, the session formally concluded. Each deliberation reflects the Commissionโs continuing pursuit of orderly electoral administration, accountable leadership, and principled democratic governanceโstrengthening the systems through which the student vote is protected and heard.
