SONAMES welcomes the new member of our department! As many new faces begin ther college journeys, the officers guide them in adjusting to life as a UCnian NAME student. โš“

The first years were guided on a tour through the campus to familiarize them the school layout as well as to introduce them to the various laboratories that they will be utilizing throughout their stay.

After the tour, the officers also organized games for the first years to build their teamwork and friendship. Through the games, the officers also introduced some basic Naval Architecture concepts as well as the faculty and admins of the department. ๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ ๐Ÿ“

The Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering department is not only a group of students, but also a tightly knit community. Entering college may be jarring to some. But there will always be those who will help and support. Because it is through the support of others that the world will know our NAME.
