SUSPENSION OF FACE TO FACE CLASSES SA TALISAY TUNGOD SA GRABENG KAINIT SA PANAHON FOR THE PROTECTION OF OUR STUDENTS.

Earlier this afternoon, we had a meeting with DepEd Talisay, led by Dr. Arden Monisit, Mam Christine Paquibot and all 10 district school supervisors.

Atoang gisigurado nga safety atoang mga bata sa mga Public Schools sa City of Talisay.

In alignment with the recommendations of our Talisay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office headed by Alvin Santillana, we have collectively decided that all FACE-TO-FACE classes will be suspended from April 3 to 14, transitioning to a MODULAR set-up to safeguard the well-being of both teachers and students.

Tomorrow, only students scheduled to take the NATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT TEST (NAT) and EARLY LANGUAGE LITERACY AND NUMERACY ASSESSMENT (ELLNA) will have in-person classes, while the rest will engage in the modular set-up.

As to our private schools, atong esalig sa respective School administrators ang desisyon kun mo implementar ba kini ug modular classes.

Isalig nato sa private school administrators ang pagpatuman sa ilahang mga pamaagi ug dili kita mo impose sa atong authority. We do not want to impose on private schools ug dili kita mag buot2x.

Sa atong mga estudyante sa mga pribadong eskwelahan, please understand that we don’t want to impose on private schools. It will be their decision.

Hangyo lang ko sa parents and our students, we are suspending face to face classes because we don’t want them to be in a place not conducive for learning.

Your welfare is our concern.

Rest assured that the safety and welfare of our students and educators will remain our utmost priority.

Posted in the comments section is the recommendation of our disaster head, Alvin Santillana.
