USJR School of Law Advocacy and Community Enrichment The leading student and community oriented service organization in the University of San Jose-Recoletos School of Law. OBJECTIVES

The University of San Jose-Recoletos School of Law Advocacy and Community Enrichment (SOLACE) is the center and leading student and community oriented service organization committed to transforming law students to become advocates of justice and human rights. To encourage commitment, advocacy and volunteerism from the students of law towards the community and family;

2. To develop a culture of wi

llingness and readiness to share one’s time, resources and expertise;

3. To continuously inculcate respect for the law in the students and society;

4. To train students enrolled in the clinical education program to practice law ethically and to competently handle the assigned cases through supervised appearance in courts and appropriate agencies;

5. To be actively involved in public interest cases; and

6. To provide free legal assistance, especially to indigent litigants as provided in the Rules of Court, respecting the policy that no civil case shall be filed without first exhausting all possible venues of conciliation in order to assist the courts in decongesting their clogged dockets.

The SEC will be launching its “SECuring the Philippine Capital Market and Business Sector,“ a webinar series under the SEC Communication, Advocacy and Network Initiative 2020, at 1:00PM on Wednesday, 12 August 2020.

The webinar series will open with an introduction to the Securities and Exchange Commission, its mandate and functions, and a discussion on the salient provisions of the Revised Corporation Code, which govern the creation and operation of corporations in the Philippines.

Please refer to these steps for a hassle-free enrolment!

Enrolment Procedure:
1. Register at the Law Department Office for evaluation. Present your (1) Updated Evaluation (only for 4th years) and (2) final permit or receipt of payment from the previous semester (second semester or summer, whichever applies) to get your enrolment form.

2. While the student assistants (SAs) will have to evaluate your grades, you are advise to proceed to RM. 301 to wait for the go signal if you are okay to enroll. The SA in-charge will then give you the enrolment form.

3. Go to RM. 302 to enlist subjects and fill out the enrolment form.

4. Go back to the Law Dept. Office for Admission and Dean signature.

5. Pay the entrance fee of P3, 000 at the cashier office or you can do advance payment through bank:

6. Proceed to the ID Section.
7. Then, go to EDP for printing of the subjects.
