Official University Advisory: In accordance with the directive of Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival, all classes in all levels will shift to online (synchronous/asynchronous). This will take effect across all UC Campuses within Cebu City (UC Main, Banilad, METC, and UCPT).

All servicing departments shall report for regular work operations.

In light of the earthquakes with magnitudes 6.9 and 7.4 that struck Cebu on September 30 and October 10, 2025, the University has conducted a comprehensive assessment and follow-up inspection of all its buildings and facilities. The team of licensed civil engineers carried out this initiative to ensure the safety and well-being of the entire university community.

Based on the inspection results, all university buildings are structurally safe and sound for occupancy. However, as an additional precaution and to allow further dearing and minor maintenance, online classes shall continue from October 13 to 18, 2025.

In line with the University's commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees and students, and in consistency with our ongoing monitoring of the situation following the magnitude 6.9 earthquake on September 30, 2025 and strong aftershocks, we are Implementing the following measures:

1. Suspension of Face-to-Face Classes:
In consideration of our employees and students residing in Northern Cebu and the occurrence of strong aftershocks, all face-to-face classes are hereby suspended for one (1) week.
During this period, classes shall shift to an online modality to ensure continuity of learning.

Face-to-face classes will resume on Monday, October 13, 2025.
