Members of the Cebu Pillars Eagles Club together with Kuya Harold Seno, Charter President and Governor of Central Visayas Region V - CVR V are extending their assistance to 90 families affected by the fire in Sitio Zapanta and McArthur, located in Barangay Tejero, Cebu City.

SERVICE THROUGH STRONG BROTHERHOOD

The Central Visayas Region V - CVR V exemplifies SERVICE THROUGH STRONG BROTHERHOOD on Sunday, October 5, 2025, under the guidance of our esteemed Governor Harold S. Seno and his family, along with the Clubs associated with CVR 5, which comprise the Cebu Pillars Eagles Club, Sugbu Magallanes Eagles Club, Pueblo Hinulawan Eagles Club, Rajah Tupaz Eagles Club, Cebu Portmen Eagles Club, Cordova Coast Eagles Club, Baluarte sa Boljoon Eagles Club, Badhas Alguinasan Eagles Club, and Bantayan Elite Eagles Club.
Although the journey to our destination, with recipients of 700 families at Kawit, Medellin, Cebu took nearly 13 hours, our fatigued bodies were rejuvenated upon witnessing the joyful expressions of the community as they received our humble act of assistance, despite being strangers. Simultaneously, the relief operation was initiated at the request of Mrs. Marife Seno, the first lady of Governor Harold S. Seno, who, as the owner of MCO Trading and a major sponsor of the event, insisted that her birthday celebration be postponed, with the funds intended for the celebration redirected to the relief operation.
As the Governor of CVR 5, Kuya Harold convened an emergency meeting with the nine affiliated clubs of CVR 5 to coordinate a relief operation to the north. Without hesitation, the members of CVR 5 illuminated the candle of the essence of an Agila, acting instinctively as an Agila should, embodying the principle of 'Service through Strong Brotherhood.'
Special thanks to the Tejero Barangay Councils for the transportation and selected personnel and I would like to commend the true-blooded Agilas, whom I will mention below, for their efforts in making this momentous event possible.

Seno and Charter President of Cebu Pillars Eagle Club encourages all kuyas and states to remember that we come together not only during times of celebration but also in moments of grief. 1. 45th NATIONAL ASSEMBLY – The Regional Officers, consisting of the Governor, Vice Governor, and three National Assembly members, are required to attend this event with a registration fee of 3,500.00 per person. This fee has been paid online by Kuya Bruce Contratista via GCASH to Assembly Treasurer Kuya Raul Noli Laurente II, with proof of payment posted in our official group chat and emailed to Kuya Raul. All Kuya are encourage to attend this event to show support to our VPV with an assessment of 2,000.00 per Kuya which includes the food, registration kit and subli.

2. Anniversary - Please be informed that the Anniversary, which was initially set for September 27, 2025, at Alta Resort, has been postponed due to the passing of Kuya Resty Getubig. In light of Kuya Resty's death, Kuya Gov encourages all kuya and states to remember that we come together not only during times of celebration but also in moments of grief. We stand united as one brotherhood, sharing in the sorrow of our Kuya's loss, which is the reason for the event's postponement. All Kuya are encouraged to attend the interment of Kuya Resty on September 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Boljoon Church, wearing short sleeve CVR5 attire and bringing your official Subli. The assembly for the trip to Boljoon will be at 5:30 AM at CITI DE MARIE South Road Properties.

3. REXECOM – The Club Officers, which include the President, Vice-President, and three Assemblymen, are required to attend the interment of Kuya Resty. Following this event, it has been unanimously decided to hold the REXECOM, during which both the Club Officers and Regional Officers must present their reports. These reports should encompass the following details:
1. The count of active, inactive, and deceased members
2. The total number of General Month Meetings (GMM)
3. The number of Socio Civics activities
4. The financial status of the Club
5. Documentary evidence must be provided, clearly indicating the date and time
6. The number of aspirants
