The CIT-U SSG Commission on Elections, acting through the Board of Canvassers, has officially promulgated ๐๐๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ. ๐๐๐, ๐ฌ. ๐๐๐๐. This resolution addresses the unprecedented outcome of the May 15 General Elections and outlines our immediate next steps to ensure the sovereign will of the student body is upheld.
Here are the key declarations from the resolution:
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ & ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: The May 15 General Elections are deemed valid and successful for all positions EXCEPT the President, Secretary General, and Treasurer General. The duly elected candidates for the validly concluded races will be officially proclaimed and shall assume their respective offices.

๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: A "Failure to Elect" is formally declared for the positions of President, Secretary General, and Treasurer General. In faithful adherence to the CIT-U SSG Constitution, the Commission honors the majority abstention as the prevailing voice of the participating electorate, rendering these three positions officially vacant at the start of the term.

๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: To fill these evident vacancies, a Special Election will be conducted. The official calendar of activities will be released in a separate announcement.

๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: The filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COC) for the three vacant executive positions is immediately reopened. All eligible Technologians, including previous candidates who meet the standard qualifications outlined in the Election Code, are encouraged and legally permitted to file and run.
