Last Sunday, October 5, 2025, our team faced a major challenge as a standstill traffic from Carmen to Tabogon via Lugo caused hours of delay to thousands of volunteers extending help to our brothers and sisters in Northern Cebu.
Because of the unexpected situation, we decided to shift our plan โ instead of preparing cooked meals, we distributed relief goods to ensure we could still reach the affected families on time. And rather than giving just 1 liter of water, we provided 10 liters per household, so it would last longer and the containers could be reused by the residents. ๐ง
After nearly 48 hours with no sleep, me and my brothers stood strong โ driven by our mission to serve those who needed it the most. Every pack and every drop of water represented the trust and generosity of the people, our brothers and sisters who placed their faith in us to deliver their donations to the most deserving.
At the end of a long and fulfilling day, we were graciously invited by our dear brother, Bro. Philip Suan, for dinner at his humble home in Tindog, Medellin, Cebu. We also turned over the extra relief goods and water for him to distribute among his neighbors.
Thank you, brod, and to your wife for your warm welcome and hospitality. Your kindness truly capped off our day with meaning and gratitude. ๐
To everyone who supported, prayed, and trusted us โ this mission is yours as much as it is ours.
Be safe. Get safe. Vida Longa! ๐๐ค๐
