The final deadline for returning locker keys is May 15,2026 (Friday).

Office of the President Memorandum No. 2026-016

RE: SUSPENSION OF CLASSES IN RELATION TO ASEAN SUMMIT 2026
DATE: 6 MAY 2026

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1239, which declares May 6–8, 2026 as special non-working holidays in the City of Cebu in line with the hosting of the ASEAN Summit 2026, CLASSES in both MHAM College and MHAM College of Medicine are hereby SUSPENDED starting today, May 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM until May 8, 2026.

This measure is implemented in view of anticipated traffic management concerns and heightened security arrangements for ASEAN delegates and participants, as Cebu City and Mandaue City have been identified as key areas and transport routes for the event.

Please be guided by the following:

• Students without scheduled examinations during the covered period are not required to report.
• Students with scheduled examinations shall report and proceed as scheduled, subject to the guidance of their instructors and respective deans.
• Faculty members and personnel directly involved in the administration of examinations are likewise required to report.

All concerned are advised to coordinate with their respective colleges and departments for further instructions and possible schedule adjustments.

Regular classes will resume on Monday, May 11, 2026.
