English Fellows Organization - the biggest living organization yet of Cebu Normal University - is an association created for all the students enrolled in an English-concentrated degree program of the said institution. Bustamante, has almost eight hundred members enrolled in the College of Teacher Education with a degree program Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English, also in the College of Arts and Sciences with the degree programs Bachelor of Arts Major in English Language and Bachelor of Arts Major in English Literature. The organization celebrates its month-long activities every February of the year.

Some people are like poetry written in the quietest ink; they do not ask to be noticed, yet their presence leaves a thousand beautiful things behind. Today, the 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 celebrates one such soul—a heart that gives kindness so effortlessly, a spirit that meets every challenge with patience, and a pair of hands that never grows tired of giving its best.

There are days when everything feels heavy. The schedule, the grades, or even the weight of simply keeping up. We tell ourselves that the situation is the problem, that the semester is unfair, that this is simply how things are. But is it? Or is it the story we keep telling ourselves about it?

A group project that seems like a disaster can become a lesson in patience. A setback that feels like failure can become the moment you finally learn how to carry pressure. The situation does not change but the way we hold it does. It can become a quiet power we often forget we have.

We may not get to choose the hand we are dealt, but we can choose the story we tell about it. The same rain can ruin a day or water what is about to grow. The same semester can break us or build us. It all depends on where we decide to look.

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭, 𝐄𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞. 🌅

But perhaps some beginnings are not meant to end when the lights dim and the music fades.

On 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 the 𝐓𝐀𝐂 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫 became a little world of its own. Voices echoed through the room, feet moved to every beat, hands painted stories across the walls, and hearts found the courage to speak. 𝐄𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, “𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐚: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭,” was more than a celebration. It was a space where our freshies came not merely to attend, but to be seen, to be heard, and to leave a little piece of themselves behind.

From every 𝒚𝒆𝒍𝒍 that shook the room, every 𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 that carried joy, every 𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒈 that found its way into our hearts, to the 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔 shared by our 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐠, we hope you found something worth keeping.
