One of the meaningful highlights of the 2nd night of the 75th Founding Anniversary was honoring couples who first met and came to know one another here at Immanuel Bible College, eventually building lives together ❤️✨

It was more than a celebration of love stories. It was a reminder that the years spent in this institution have shaped more than students and ministers. For many, this campus became the place where lifelong friendships, partnerships, and families began and where a shared calling to serve God took root.

Today, many of them continue to serve faithfully in ministry, with some planting churches, discipling others, and advancing the Kingdom of God in different places. Their stories remind us that what began within these campus walls has reached far beyond them.

As IBC celebrates 75 years, we give thanks for the many lives, families, and ministries that have been shaped through this institution, and for the generations who continue to carry its legacy forward for the glory of God 🙌🏻🔥

What a powerful Friday night in the presence of God! 🙌

Under the theme “IMMERSE,” we were reminded through the message of Missionary Randle Peterson that transformation begins in the mind. The things we allow to occupy our thoughts shape our decisions, our character, and ultimately the way we live.

As we immersed ourselves in God’s presence, we were challenged to clear the clutter, renew our minds, and take every thought captive to Christ. A renewed mind allows us to see beyond the patterns of this world, discern God’s will, overcome the thoughts that hinder us, and walk boldly in His purpose.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 2:5

May this not remain just a message we heard on a Friday night, but a truth we carry into our everyday lives. As we immerse ourselves in Him, may our minds be renewed, our hearts transformed, and our lives reflect Christ.

The second day of our 75th Founding Anniversary was filled with learning, fellowship, and unforgettable moments. While the sessions continued to remind us of God's faithfulness through the years, one of the day's biggest highlights was the much-awaited basketball championship.

The current IBC students proved that the next generation is ready to carry the legacy, first defeating the Luzon Alumni Team and then securing the championship victory against the Mindanao Alumni Team. It was more than just a game. It was a celebration of camaraderie, perseverance, healthy competition, and the enduring spirit that unites the Immanuel Bible College family across generations.

Seventy-five years of God's faithfulness continue to shape men and women who pursue excellence not only in ministry but also in character, teamwork, and determination. Here's to celebrating a legacy that continues to inspire, empower, and bring the IBC family together. 🏆🏀💙

One of the highlights of our 75th Founding Anniversary celebration was the inspiring message of Ptr. Joey Eguia on the theme, "Remembering the Call." Through God's Word, we were reminded to remember the Person who called us, the purpose of our call, and to rekindle the passion to guard our hearts from drifting away. We were challenged to embrace the price, remembering that the cross always precedes the crown; to keep our priorities by clearing the ministry clutter; to hold on to the promise that the God who called us still walks beside us; and to remain focused on the goal, knowing that the finish line matters more than the starting line.

The celebration became even more meaningful as our alumni participated in the Alumni Covenant of Renewal, reaffirming their commitment to faithfully fulfill God's calling and continue serving Him with steadfast hearts.

As we celebrate 75 years of God's faithfulness, may we continue to remember His call, remain faithful to His purpose, and press on until the finish line—all for His glory.

To God be all the glory! 🙏📖

🎉 75 YEARS OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS | IMMANUEL BIBLE COLLEGE 🎉

“Remembering His Faithfulness, Celebrating His Grace.” 💙

What a beautiful and memorable celebration of Immanuel Bible College’s 75th Founding Anniversary! ✨

The day began with a joyful Parade of Alumni, bringing together generations of IBCians who walked the same halls, shared the same memories, and became part of the story God has been writing through this institution for 75 years.

Our celebration continued with a meaningful Morning Service, with Dr. Camilo P. Alcomendras as our speaker. His message reminded us that as we look back on the years behind us, we also look forward with faith to what God has prepared for the years ahead.

The nostalgia continued as our alumni took a trip down memory lane through the collection of photographs displayed around the gymnasium—a beautiful reminder of the people, moments, and milestones that shaped IBC through the years. 📸💙

And of course, the celebration wouldn’t be complete without the energy and creativity of our current IBC students! 🎭✨ Through our opening salvo, “SuperBell,” a fun skit inspired by Superbook, our students brought laughter, excitement, and a little bit of adventure to the celebration. It was definitely a moment to remember!

From the alumni who carry the memories of yesterday, to the students who are shaping the story of today, 75 years of Immanuel Bible College is truly a testimony of God’s enduring faithfulness.

Here’s to 75 years of grace, 75 years of learning, 75 years of ministry, and 75 years of God’s faithfulness. 🙌🏻

Happy 75th Founding Anniversary, Immanuel Bible College!

It is possible to obey God's command while resisting His heart. That was Jonah's struggle and it can easily become ours.

Through the book of Jonah, a senior AB-Theology student Earl Kevin Mullet, reminded us that the goal of immersion is not simply to accomplish God's work but to become more like Christ. God was not only concerned with Nineveh's repentance. He was also transforming Jonah's heart. His will, His loving discipline, and His compassion for others were all shaping Jonah into the person God desired him to be.

The same is true for us. We may serve, preach, lead, and minister faithfully, yet still miss the very heart of the God we represent. True immersion is seen when our lives increasingly reflect the character of Christ. We must be loving what He loves, extending the compassion He extends, and allowing Him to transform us from the inside out.

What a refreshing time in God's presence during our Chapel Service as we gathered to worship and hear His Word. We were honored to be ministered to by Ptr. Mark Jordan Olivar, whose message reminded us of the importance of being fully immersed in God's presence and attentive to His voice.

He shared the advantages of listening to the voice of God:

✨ We receive guidance for every step we take.
✨ We experience God's blessings as we walk in obedience.
✨ Though following God's voice may bring opposition and conflicts, we can be confident that God is always with us, strengthening and sustaining us through every challenge.

May this message encourage us to continually seek God's voice above every distraction and faithfully follow His leading. As future servants of Christ, let us remain immersed in His presence, trusting that His plans are always good and His guidance is always sure.

In our chapel service, Rev. Melchor Belono-ac preached from Job 3:1–4, addressing one of life's most difficult questions: Why do bad things happen to good people? Through Job's story, we were reminded of the tension between the concern of Job's friends, Job's honest emotional journey through suffering, and God's sovereign response that ultimately revealed His wisdom beyond human understanding.

Concluding with John 9, the message reminded us that while we may not always understand the reason for our suffering, God can use it to display His power and accomplish His greater purposes. Even in seasons of pain, we can trust that He remains at work.

From the Shallow to the Deep: When Familiarity Replaces Intimacy

In our recent chapel service, Fretzel Jaictin, a senior Religious Education student, challenged us to reflect on the depth of our relationship with God. While familiarity with spiritual things can become routine, it should never replace genuine intimacy with the Lord. We may know about God and faithfully participate in ministry, yet still neglect the continual pursuit of knowing Him more deeply.

Drawing from Hosea 6:3, James 4:8, and Ephesians 3:17–19, the message called us not to settle in the shallow waters of spiritual routine but to press on in knowing the Lord. As we draw near to Him, we discover more of His presence, experience the depth of His love, and grow in a relationship that continues to transform us.
