𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 & 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 !

The University of Cebu–Main Student Affairs Office (SAO) successfully hosted the Recognition Ceremony for Accredited Student Organizations on August 29, 2026, at the UC–Main Jones Building Auditorium.

A total of 57 student organizations successfully met the rigorous accreditation requirements in alignment with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) guidelines. This success is a true testament to their commitment, efficiency, and dedication to serving the UCnian community.

Our campus is so much more than concrete walls, open stairwells, and the iconic blue court—it is a living, breathing museum of UCNian life, holding an invisible exhibit of every emotion and experience we carry.

To a passerby, it’s just the daily rush: running late, looking after which room is which, or grabbing a quick coffee before class. But look closer, and you’ll realize these halls are alive with thousands of unspoken stories—spontaneous bursts of chika on the stairs, heavy sighs over exam scores, quiet tears in a shadowy corner, and the warm relief of finally finding your people. From quiet moments of missing home by the window to celebratin wins on the court, we're all navigating our own gentle storms and silent victories under the very same roof.

For fourth-year 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘽𝙎𝙀𝘿) students of the 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙚𝙗𝙪–𝙈𝙖𝙞𝙣, the answer begins with thoughtful preparation. On August 29, 2026, the students took part in a 𝙇𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 at the UC–Main Junior High School Audio-Visual Room, focusing on the 𝘼𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝘽𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙧, 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, and 𝘿𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚 (𝘼𝘽𝘾𝘿) 𝙁𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠, 𝙎𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙏 𝙊𝙗𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨,
and the essential standards that guide effective lesson preparation.

The morning session brought together BSED majors in 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨 and 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝, followed by an afternoon session with 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙝𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘽𝙋𝙀𝘿) and 𝘽𝙎𝙀𝘿 majors in 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨, 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤, and 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚. The workshop continued the series of professional development sessions held last 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 22 at the 𝙐𝘾–𝙈𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙅𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙪𝙢, which covered 𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚, 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢, and the 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜. Through these sessions, future educators strengthened the knowledge and skills needed to turn careful planning into purposeful instruction.
