| Due to the hazardous air quality:

• Classes will remain online on September 4–5, 2026.
• Employees will resume onsite work on September 4, 2026 (Friday).
• In consideration of rotational brownouts, faculty members are encouraged to exercise leniency in the submission of course-related activities.
• Classes in the Graduate School, School of Law, ETEEAP, CPA Review, and RITTC shall be at the discretion of their respective Deans and Directors.

Onsite classes at the Main Campus and Quad Bldg. will resume on September 7, 2026 (Monday).

| In accordance with the Cebu City Mayor’s Public Advisory:

Classes and work are suspended starting at 3:00 PM today, September 2, 2026.

Tomorrow, September 3, 2026, classes will shift to online modality, while employees will adopt a work-from-home (WFH) arrangement.

All scheduled activities for September 2 and 3, 2026 are cancelled.

All students, faculty, and staff are advised to stay safe, remain indoors when possible, and take the necessary precautions.

| Josenians Crowned Miss CESAFI 2026 as 26th Season Kicks Off

University of San Jose-Recoletos representatives Lilia Amapola Buhat, a 3rd Year B.S. Psychology student, and Paula Mae Fernandez, a Grade 12 STEM-Med student of St. Sebastian, made a strong mark at the opening of the 26th season of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI), as both were crowned Miss CESAFI 2026 at the Cebu Coliseum on Saturday, August 29. Buhat also holds the Miss Globe Ambassador.
