Expand your global horizons and experience Indonesian culture firsthand at the UNESA Summer Camp x International Cultural Festival (USC x ICF) 2026, hosted by Universitas Negeri Surabaya in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia, from September 20 to 25, 2026. This fully funded program offers a rich cross-cultural exchange in which participants immerse themselves in Indonesian traditions through interactive activities, cultural showcases, food, attire, traditional dances, and a culminating vlog presentation before the grand cultural festival.

Participation is completely free of charge and includes accommodation, meals and refreshments, local transportation, and exclusive UNESA Summer Camp merchandise. Interested students and faculty are invited to apply on or before the deadline of August 21, 2026.

The University of Northern Philippines’ Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (BSID) Program has reaffirmed its commitment to professional and regulatory excellence after successfully meeting the legal and regulatory requirements of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) during its annual inspection and monitoring visit on August 13, 2026.

The inspection was carried out by a distinguished team from the Professional Regulation Commission, led by Interior Design Professional Regulatory Board Members Hon. Christina Periquet and Hon. Louie Tan, with Ms. Jennifer Ullibac, Supervising Professional Regulations Officer of PRC Region I.

The University of Northern Philippines conducted its 3rd Annual Capacity Building for National Service Training Program (NSTP) Implementation on August 13–14, 2026 at the Hostel Function Hall.

Designed to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of NSTP instruction, the two-day activity brought together faculty members in a focused capacity-building initiative aimed to enhance their competencies and instructional practices. The program was jointly organized by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Instruction and Faculty Development Office (IFDO), and the National Service Training Program, highlighting the University’s sustained commitment to equip its faculty with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to deliver responsive and impactful NSTP courses.
