|| ANNOUNCEMENT

The Honest, Orderly, and Peaceful Election (HOPE) Commission hereby announces the extension of the Filing of Certificate of Candidacy (COC) pursuant to Executive Order No. 59, Series of 2026, issued by City Mayor Randy Singson, which suspends classes at all levels in both public and private educational institutions in the City of Vigan due to inclement weather.

In view of this, and to ensure that all qualified students are given a fair and reasonable opportunity to file their Certificates of Candidacy despite the suspension of classes, the Commission advises all prospective candidates to wait further announcements regarding the revised filing schedule and other election-related activities.

The HOPE Commission appreciates your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety and welfare of the entire university community.
