From the colorful parade to the captivating cultural dances and various competitions, the celebration showcased the talents, creativity, and enthusiasm of our aspiring tourism professionals. Each activity highlighted the importance of preserving our cultural heritage, embracing diversity, and strengthening unity within the tourism community.

Beyond the performances and competitions, Rambak Turismo 2026 provided an opportunity for our Ka-Turismo to express their passion for tourism, celebrate their shared identity, and create lasting memories with their fellow students.

We began the day by exploring the history of 18th century Ilocos and the Silang Revolt, including the story of Gabriela Silang as an Ilocana hero. The session also highlighted the importance of presenting and promoting history in engaging and meaningful ways for tourists.

The day continued with an introduction to Generative AI and digital strategies. We learned about different forms of AI generation, explored various tools, and discovered how these technologies can support creativity and tourism promotion.

We also had a hands on session in Canva, where we learned basic graphic design principles, explored editing tools and elements, created a brand kit, and tried different AI features while creating our own graphics.

As we reached the end of the two day congress, we took home not only new knowledge and skills, but also a deeper appreciation of Ilocos Surโ€™s history, culture, and tourism. ADALTURISMO: Intayon! became an opportunity to learn, create, and see how tradition and innovation can come together in promoting our destination.
