'𝗬𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗶𝗸𝗧𝗼𝗸 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗸 𝗺𝗼. 😭

That urge to repeat a sound or phrase because it feels satisfying or comforting can be a 𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺.

But where did the term come from? Vocal stim comes from 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜, short for 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙧. The term is often used when talking about neurodivergent people because repetitive sounds, movements, or phrases can be a way to get sensory input, regulate emotions, or find comfort.

Attention, Senior High School Students!

As we wrap up the first term, everyone is reminded that there will be NO CLASSES from September 28 to October 2, 2026, for our Wellness Health Break.

Use this time to relax, recharge, and prepare yourself for the next term. Classes will resume on October 5, 2026, which will also mark the beginning of Term 2, SY 2026–2027.
