The Social Work Department of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) โ€“ Claveria Campus successfully conducted its Diagnostic Examination today for the graduating students of Batch 2026.

The examination served as a comprehensive assessment designed to evaluate the studentsโ€™ academic preparedness and professional competence as they move closer to completing their Bachelor of Science in Social Work degree. The diagnostic test covered major areas of the social work profession, including Human Behavior and Social Environment, Social Welfare Programs and Services, Social Work Casework, Social Work Groupwork, and Community Organization. These subject areas are essential foundations in equipping future social workers with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to effectively respond to the needs of individuals, groups, and communities.

As Batch 2026 continues its preparation for graduation and future licensure, the Social Work Department remains steadfast in its mission to nurture socially responsive practitioners who are ready to advocate for social justice, empowerment, and meaningful change in society.

The Accomplishment Evaluation held last May 07, 2026 was successfully conducted, highlighting the organizationโ€™s dedication, commitment, and collective efforts in achieving its goals and initiatives. The activity became an avenue to reflect on the organizationโ€™s accomplishments, evaluate progress, and identify areas for continuous improvement and development.

The presentation was facilitated by Internal Vice President Guenever Lagbas, Associate Secretary Eljoy Kipkipan, and Associate Treasurer Nicole Jeva Gesta, who shared the organizationโ€™s accomplishments, activities, and efforts throughout the term. Through collaboration and active participation, the evaluation was carried out successfully and meaningfully.
