OUR HUMBLE BEGINNING..

GE PHI UPSILON CHAPTER The Phi Upsilon Chapter was formally established at the College of Engineering of the University of San Jose-Recoletos, Cebu City. Six(6) brave men hurdled the traditional sunrise to sunset survival rites of the organization on September 28, 2002. Since then, it became one of the most successful chapter of GE in the region. The Chapter was able to open additional nest in the cities of Danao and Toledo in 2003 and 2004. Lead the way for the revival in other colleges and universities from 2003-2011. Resident members exist at the University of Cebu-Main and Banilad Campuses, University of the Visayas and Cebu Sacred Heart College in Talisay City. The chartering of Phi Omicron Chapter of Cebu Institute of Technology, Phi Theta Chapter of University of Cebu-METC and Phi Epsilon Chapter of Northern Negros State College in Sagay City, Negros Occidental. The rest is history.

GE UPSILON ALPHA CHAPTER At the shared FALCONS & SAE Tree in the quadrangle of the University of San Jose-Recoletos College of Engineering, the idea to expand the fraternity at Northeastern Cebu Colleges in Danao City was planned hence the birth of the Upsilon Alpha Chapter. The pioneering batch survived the initiation rites at the mountains of Magay, Compostela, Cebu on January 11, 2003. Interestingly, the place where the rites was held is now the famous QPark. Upsilon Alpha was able to expand its membership and chartered chapters at Cebu Technological University-Danao Campus and Colegio de San Antonio de Padua. Upsilon Alpha is currently the only chapter in Cebu with active resident and alumni members.
