Representing Cotabato State University (CSU) President, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐’๐ž๐ฆ๐š ๐†. ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฅ๐ง๐š,, was ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐“๐š๐ซ๐ก๐š๐ญ๐š ๐’. ๐†๐ฎ๐ข๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐ง, University Research Director who attended the meeting on December 11, 2025, at Habi Hotel in Koronadal City. The meeting was presided by ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐„๐๐ฐ๐ข๐ง ๐“. ๐๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ค๐ข, RRDCC Chairperson and SCC President. Department of Agriculture- Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources XII (DA-BFAR XII) sponsored the said meeting.

The meeting proper started at 10:00 AM, with the presentation and approval of the agenda, followed by the reading of the highlights of the previous meeting by ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐‰๐ž๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐†. ๐„๐ฅ๐ž, Consortium Director

The meeting's agenda included presentations on the Accomplishment Report for current year, Financial Report, Consortium Updates, Collection of Accomplishment Report, and the RAISE Program in Region XII. These discussions aimed to enhance collaboration, share best practices, and drive innovation in the region's agriculture and natural resources sectors. ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐’๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฅ๐š ๐„. ๐€๐›๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š, RRDCC Vice Chairperson and PhilRice-MES Branch Director, delivered closing remarks before the meeting was adjourned.

READ | The RAISE SOCCSKSARGEN: Innovation, Partnerships, & Agripreneurship Pitch Fest 2025 recently took place on December 10-11, 2025, at the USM Commercial Building in Kabacan, Cotabato. This event brought together stakeholders to showcase innovative projects and ideas in agriculture and agribusiness. Cotabato State University (CSU) was among the participants, highlighting its commitment to driving innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.

Representing CSU at the event was Director of Agri-Forestry Center, Aprof. Rhanest Tilendo, who presented an innovative project titled "INNOVATIVE BITE-SIZED TINAGTAG: PROFITABLE HERITAGE AND SUSTAINABLE MARKET IMPACT." The presentation showcased Universityโ€™s efforts in developing sustainable and marketable products that promote local heritage.

Additionally, Baina Saway, program head of BS Agribusiness, presented "CSU CORN POLVORON," a product that exemplifies the university's focus on agribusiness innovation.

Through its participation in the RAISE SOCCSKSARGEN Pitch Fest, CsU demonstrated its dedication to fostering partnerships, driving innovation, and promoting agripreneurship in the region. CSU attended the 2nd Bangsamoro Scientific Conference and 5th BARMM Health Research Forum held at the Blue Lotus Hotel in Davao City on November 16, 2025. The Director of the Office of Research Programs (ORP), ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐“๐š๐ซ๐ก๐š๐ญ๐š ๐’. ๐†๐ฎ๐ข๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐ง, represented CSU.

In this event, organized by the Bangsamoro Health Research and Development Consortium (BHRDC), researchers, professionals, and students came together to advance the scientific and technological landscape of the region. This year's conference theme, "Connected Research, Shared Future: Advancing Food, Technology, and Health for a Resilient Bangsamoro," highlighted the importance of science-driven development and evidence-based policymaking in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

A number of health-related research studies were presented at the conference with the aim of strengthening the region's research and innovation capabilities.

Studies on the Agriculture, Aquatic & Natural Resources (AANR) and the Industry, Energy & Emerging Technology (IEET) tracks were presented during the forum in order to harmonize the Bangsamoro agenda for research and development. Through this initiative, BARMM demonstrated their commitment to evidence-based policymaking and science-driven development.
