Should you have inquiries or clarifications, kindly message this page. The Camarines Norte State College originated from the former Camarines Norte High School established in 1920. On 23rd of June 1993 Parliamentary Bill No. 2378 was approved and signed into law converting Camarines Norte National High School (CNNHS). It was introduced in the House of Representatives by former Congressman Renato M

. During the Fifth Regular Session and later signed into law by Her Excellency, President Corazon C. Aquino on 22nd of April 1992, known as RA 7352 converting the present Camarines Norte National High School in the Municipality of Daet into a State College to be known as Camarines Norte State College, integrating for the purpose the Abaรฑo Pilot Elementary in Daet, Mercedes School of Fisheries in Mercedes, Camarines Norte National Agricultural School in Labo and the Camarines Norte School of Arts and Trade in Jose Panganiban, all in the Province of Camarines Norte. With the full implementation of RA 7352, The College of Education was one of the first departments organized in the Main Campus to offer Teacher Education. At present, it has produced 18 batches of graduates for both Bachelor of Secondary Education and Bachelor of Elementary Education. The College of Education at present is Accredited Level III by the AACCUP.

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 11399 and based on the favorable recommendation made by the CHEDRO V, and the Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and Governance through the CHED Composite Team, the Commission en banc hereby confirms by virtue of Resolution No. 309-2026 dated May 25, 2026 the compliance of Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) located in the Municipality of Daet, Province of Camarines Norte with the minimum CHED requirements for a University status.
The Commission on Higher Education therefore acknowledges the conversion of ๐‚๐€๐Œ๐€๐‘๐ˆ๐๐„๐’ ๐๐Ž๐‘๐“๐„ ๐’๐“๐€๐“๐„ ๐‚๐Ž๐‹๐‹๐„๐†๐„ into

CNSC congratulates Ms. Maryjane B. Dypianco, MAEd, Head of the Sports Development Office and faculty member of the College of Education, for being recognized as Best Research Paper Presenter during the 2026 International Physical Education Convention held on May 5โ€“9, 2026 at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), Davao City.

Ms. Dypianco received the award for her research paper titled โ€œBachelor of Physical Education Studentsโ€™ Engagement in Sports Management and Sports Officiating Activities: An Analysis,โ€ which examined the involvement and competencies of BPEd students in sports management and officiating-related activities.

Her study carries a significant impact in strengthening Physical Education instruction and student development by identifying the gap between studentsโ€™ strong interest in sports leadership and their limited actual participation in sports management and officiating activities. Through its findings, the research provided a foundation for developing structured interventions such as mentorship programs, skills training workshops, practicum opportunities, and curriculum enhancement initiatives aimed at improving studentsโ€™ competencies, confidence, and readiness for future leadership and officiating roles in the field.
