Attention: All Freshmen and Transfer Students (CAS, CBPA, CoEng, CCMS)

Please read and understand this announcement carefully to avoid any confusion.

Please be informed that the Set A and Set B arrangement will be implemented only on Day 1 of the Freshmen and Transfer Students Orientation Week. This arrangement is necessary because parents and guardians are also required to attend the Orientation Program at the UCN Covered Court. Since the venue cannot accommodate all students, parents and guardians at the same time, participants have been divided into two groups to ensure the smooth, orderly, and comfortable conduct of the program.

During the morning session, Set A (College of Business and Public Administration and College of Computing and Multimedia Studies) will attend the Orientation Program at the UCN Covered Court together with their parents or guardians, while Set B (College of Engineering and College of Arts and Sciences) will participate in the scheduled activities at the Entrance Pavilion and UCN Grounds. During the afternoon session, the groups will switch venues. Set B will attend the Orientation Program at the UCN Covered Court, while Set A will proceed to the scheduled activities at the Entrance Pavilion and UCN Grounds. Please be assured that the activities in both venues will be conducted simultaneously, ensuring that all students will participate in the same activities by the end of the day.

Please note that on Day 1, parents and guardians are only required to attend the half-day Orientation Program at the UCN Covered Court. Once the activities are conducted at the Entrance Pavilion and UCN Grounds, parents and guardians are no longer involved, as these activities are intended exclusively for students.

From Day 2 to Day 4, the Set A and Set B arrangement will no longer be implemented. All students will be grouped according to their respective departments, as the venues for the remaining activities can accommodate everyone.

The prescribed color-coded attire is intended exclusively for freshmen and transfer students and will be implemented in both the Main Campus and all Satellite Campuses. This is to ensure the proper identification of students participating in the Orientation Week activities.

Each day has an assigned color. Students may wear plain or printed clothing, provided that the assigned color is the dominant color of their attire. Similar or closely related shades of the assigned color are also acceptable, as long as the assigned color remains the most noticeable color of the outfit. Students are likewise reminded to wear decent and appropriate clothing and to comply with the University's Prescribed Attire Guidelines. Please ensure that your attire is not included in the list of prohibited attires previously posted by the University.

The University of Camarines Norte (UCN) advises all Freshmen and Transfer Students of the Main Campus to check their assigned groupings and the corresponding schedule of sessions and activities for the Freshmen and Transfer Students Orientation Week 2026.

The groupings and schedule of sessions and activities posted here are applicable only to UCN Main Campus freshmen and transfer students. Students from the Satellite Campuses are advised to visit and follow the official page of their respective campus or department for the official announcements regarding their groupings, schedules, and other orientation-related updates.

Parents or guardians are required to accompany their students on Day 1 only. They are only expected to attend the Orientation Session and are required to stay only during the half-day schedule (AM or PM) assigned to their respective academic program.

We encourage everyone to arrive on time, actively participate in every session, and follow their designated schedule to ensure a smooth and organized orientation.
