DAY 2 | ๐๐ป๐ธ๐ถ ๐ก๐ฎ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ช๐ป๐ฌ๐ฑ ๐๐ป๐ธ๐ซ๐ต๐ฎ๐ถ ๐ฝ๐ธ ๐ฆ๐ธ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ต๐ฎ
From research problem to working titleโDay 2 brought our MAEd students one step closer to turning their research ideas into something concrete. โจ
Guided by our Day 2 resource speaker, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ ๐. ๐๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฅ, the participants revisited their Day 1 outputs and explored the anatomy of an effective research title, common problems in title construction, and strategies for refining their research directions.
Through the Title Construction Laboratory, Research Title Clinic, Peer Review, and guided activities, participants had the opportunity to develop, evaluate, and improve their proposed research titles.
The highlight of the day was the Research Title Pitch, where each group presented and defended their proposed title using the FINER and CICO criteria. Every group had the opportunity to share their work and receive feedback, while the first three groups to complete the challenge earned additional Mabini Dollars. ๐ต๐
The two-day journey culminated in reflection, commitment, awarding of certificates, and the closing ceremony, with the presence of our Dean, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐ง๐ข๐ ๐. ๐๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฅ, together with our resource speaker, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ ๐. ๐๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฅ; SMGS Adviser, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ซ๐ฒ๐ฅ ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐จ; ๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ; and ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ.
And, of course, the much-awaited ๐ด๐จ๐ฌ๐
๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐ was opened as participants put their hard-earned Mabini Dollars to good use! ๐๏ธ๐
