DAET, CAMARINES NORTE β The University of Camarines Norte (UCN) congratulates the College of Engineering (CoEng) for its outstanding performance in the August 2026 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE), producing four (4) newly registered mechanical engineers.
Under the leadership of Engr. Joselito A. Olalo, PhD, the College produced Engr. Andrie Jimenez De Leon, Engr. Mark Eldreen Lucero, Engr. Jonathan Bequillo Pentecostes, and Engr. John Rexter Tendenilla.
UCN achieved an overall institutional passing rate of 50.00%, surpassing the national passing rate of 36.95% and placing the University among the top-performing Bicol SUCs and HEIs based on institutional passing percentage.
SUC President Atty. Ryan L. Estevez, DPA, lauded the achievement, noting that it reflects the dedication and hard work of the graduates, faculty, and academic leaders. He emphasized that UCN remains committed to providing quality education and preparing competent professionals who can contribute meaningfully to their communities and the nation.
The achievement highlights the College of Engineeringβs continuing commitment to academic excellence, quality engineering education, and professional competence.
UCN extends its warmest congratulations to the four newly registered mechanical engineers, their families, and the entire College of Engineering community.
