The Camarines Norte State College joins the entire nation in commemorating the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 and the 𝟭𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻.

Today, we honor the historic first unfurling of the 🇵🇭 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 after the triumph at the Battle of Alapan on May 28, 1898 — a pivotal victory that ignited the flame of freedom and led to the proclamation of 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 on June 12, 1898.

Pursuant to 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟯𝟳𝟰 signed in 1965, May 28 is observed as 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆. Meanwhile, 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟳𝟵 (1994) calls on all Filipinos to proudly display the Philippine flag from May 28 to June 12 — a stirring symbol of courage, unity, and the enduring spirit of the Filipino people.

The momentous event was graced by key leaders and visionaries dedicated to pushing the boundaries of regional development. Representing CNSC were College President Atty. Ryan L. Estevez, DPA, Vice President for Research and Extension, Dr. Rosalie A. Almadrones, and CNSC College of Engineering Dean, Engr. Joselito Olalo. In recognition of the institution's unwavering support and invaluable contributions to the consortium's goals, a Plaque of Appreciation was also awarded to CNSC during the ceremony.⁣⁣

The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the College President to discuss strategic partnerships and community development initiatives.

The CDA delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Rosalie A. Almadrones, Vice President for Research and Extension, currently functioning as the OIC President, alongside Dr. Girly H. Naval, Director for Extension Services.

We are deeply honored by the presence of Asec. Abdulsalam Guinomla – Board Member III and Head of EAU and CMPL Cooperatives Cluster and Atty. Emilio D. Escueta III – Regional Director, CDA R5.

This meeting marks an exciting milestone in bridging academic research and extension services with sustainable cooperative development.

The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Regional District Area B5 paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the President.

It was a highly productive meeting with our College President, Atty. Ryan L. Estevez, DPA, focusing on potential collaborations and programs in strengthening the bridge between the architectural industry and our academic community.

The UAP also opened the idea of CNSC offering an Architecture program very soon.

DAET, CAMARINES NORTE — Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) is proud to announce the extraordinary success of Allana Gumawa Abordo, who secured the Top 2 position nationwide in the recently concluded Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) - Secondary Level.

Ms. Abordo, a graduate of the CNSC – Abaño Campus, achieved an exceptional rating of 95.00%, distinguishing herself among thousands of examinees across the country.

This achievement underscores the institution’s commitment to providing high-quality education and its mission to produce globally competitive professionals. The CNSC administration and faculty commend Ms. Abordo for her rigorous academic discipline and the honor she has brought to the province of Camarines Norte.
