Besting three other secondary schools, Patoc NHS made another history, after being hailed as the first ever grand champion of Dagami's Binagol Festival during its inaugural edition, May 26, 2024, at the Dagami Town Plaza.
Composed of 104 dancers and propmen, the PNHS contingents showcased a stellar performance under the scorching heat of the sun. Dressed in eye-catching costumes, the performers made every moment worth their spectatorsโ time. The sways, stomps, and synchronized movements proved to be powerful when they won the judgesโ favor. Months of hard work and preparation have not gone down the drain.
This creative undertaking would not have advanced further without the solid support of Daryl Jayson M. Conge, the PNHS Head, and the efforts of the MAPEH teachers, headed by Junrel Mazo, Maryjoy Ubaldo-Camero, Eugene Verzosa, and Gella Marie Germanes.
PNHS also bagged two special awards: Best in Street Dance and Best in Choreography. Thanks to the choreographer, Rober Villasante, the whole presentation looked visually impressive.
Present to cheer for the performers were the PNHS teachers. Their hurrays and applause added to the momentum and excitement.
This is just one of the many firsts that PNHS intends to claim in its future endeavors. For now, the entire school community is still in celebration mode for this historic win.
