๐ŸŽ—๏ธ ICYMI | Pink and Blue Lighting Ceremony 2026

This week has been colorful in the most supportive ways.

On October 8, the Student Assistantsโ€™ Society (SAS) joined the observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, showing support for the cause by wearing pink and attending the lighting ceremony.

On October 10, SAS attended the Mental Health Seminar conducted by the Nightingale Society and Psychology Society, followed by the Mental Health Awareness Lighting Ceremony. Members wore blue in support of mental health awareness.

From pink to blue, SAS stands with those who continue to fight, those who are still healing, and those who need to be reminded that they are not alone.

We stand by you, we stand with you, and we stand for you.

๐Ÿ“ท IN PHOTOS | Teachersสผ Day Celebration 2026

On October 5, 2026, members of the Universidad de Dagupan family, led by the Supreme Student Council (SSC), came together at the UdD Quadrangle to celebrate Teachersสผ Day, paying tribute to the teachers and non-teaching staff who have continued to help and inspire the community.

This yearสผs celebration began with different organizationsสผ representatives lining up with different colored balloons in the entrance to welcome the faculty members, followed by Teachersสผ Day Acknowledgment, Tribute Message, and the โ€œOh La Laโ€ Dance Celebration, made possible with the help of STEEDS. There were also a thank-you song and flower-giving to show appreciation.

Along with other student organizations, SAS participated in the celebration by lining up in the entrance with a balloon and presenting flowers to the teaching and non-teaching staff.

Furthermore, SAS Officers also prepared flowers of their own given to their advisers as a simple gesture of appreciation for their guidance and support.

๐Ÿ“ธ IN PHOTOS | Student Assistants Orientation A.Y. 2026โ€“2027, 1st Semester

A productive start to the new semester came about through the gathering of the student assistants during the Student Assistants Orientation for AY 2026โ€“2027, 1st Semester. It was a chance to gain a better appreciation of what it means to be a student assistant and the duties expected of such a position. The event also featured an awarding ceremony recognizing student assistants for their efforts and contributions, followed by the election of the new Student Assistant Officers.

We extend our gratitude to Sir Jann Alfred A. Quinto, MSIB, Dr. Justin Q. Callesto, and Ma'am May Jacklyn Radoc-Samson for sharing their valuable insights and encouragement.

Special thanks to our adviser, Mr. Christian Joy Lagartera, and our co-adviser, Mr. Dary Serapion, for their continued guidance and support. ๐Ÿ’™
