𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 | 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗖𝗣𝗦𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Earlier, on 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 gathered at the 𝗠𝗧 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺, 𝗚𝗦 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 for the upcoming 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗖𝗣𝗦𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘂𝗺. The session was presided over by 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹, 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗟. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼.

Important reminders and participation plans were discussed, along with key responsibilities and expectations. The delegates were guided on what to observe and how to properly represent the college throughout the consortium.

The discussion also gave the delegates the chance to raise questions and clarify concerns about the flow of activities, expectations, and other important matters related to the consortium.

𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 | 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗡𝗢. 𝟮, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗖) officially adopts 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟮, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

This resolution recognizes the resignation of 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗡. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 as 𝟭𝘀𝘁-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 following her transfer to another school. We thank her for her dedication and service to the first-year students as well as to the CAS student body.

It also confirms the election and assumption of office of 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗙. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘇 as the new 𝟭𝘀𝘁-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, who was chosen through the 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹. With her election, first-year students continue to have a voice in the Council.

Last January 22, the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 visited evacuation sites following the heightened activity of Mt. Mayon. Hundreds of families have been displaced, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟰𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻. Afraid. Confused. In urgent need of care, safety, and hope. They need us.

Earlier today, the 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗕 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 attended their 𝗢𝗻-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗢𝗝𝗧) 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 at 𝗚𝗦𝟳, led by their program chair, 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗘. 𝗦𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼.

During the session, the students were informed about their possible deployment areas, the requirements they need to complete, and the guidelines to follow before deployment. The important details were explained clearly to help them understand what to expect during their training.

This orientation serves as a stepping stone toward real-life work experience, helping the students become more prepared, responsible, and confident as they enter the professional setting. It is truly an important part of their journey as Political Science students.
