The NU Dasmariñas Student Government urges all Nationalians to read and carefully review the official advisory from NUD ComSElec regarding the rescheduling of the Student Government Elections.

As stated in the advisory, the elections have been rescheduled to the next academic year and are proposed to take place on July 29, 30, and 31, 2026. This adjustment was made as only nine (9) out of the twenty-three (23) required elective positions were filled by candidates. A special election will be conducted for the remaining vacancies, and the specific schedules and guidelines for the filing of candidacy will be announced at a later date.

The NU Dasmariñas Student Government stands in unwavering solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community this Pride Month. Beyond the vibrant celebrations, Pride remains deeply rooted in the courage of individuals who defied discrimination to pave the way for equal rights, dignity, and genuine recognition.

As student leaders, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering a campus where every student is respected, valued, and empowered to express their authentic identity without fear. Pride is a powerful reminder that true inclusion goes beyond mere visibility—it requires us to intentionally build spaces where diversity is embraced, rights are protected, and every voice is heard.

The NU Dasmariñas Student Government honors this year’s Labor Day by recognizing the Filipino workers whose labor continues to sustain the nation. From those who rise before dawn to those who work long past sunset, their efforts remain the quiet force behind every functioning community.

But this day is not only for recognition; it is a moment of reflection. Across the country, many workers still face long hours, low wages, and uncertain conditions—realities that should neither be normalized nor ignored. Strength has long been admired, yet it should not be defined by how much hardship one can endure in silence.

To truly honor labor is to acknowledge these conditions and stand against them. Filipino workers deserve more than gratitude; they deserve dignity, protection, and opportunities that allow them to live, not merely survive. Their value is not measured by what they endure, but by the very nation they build.

𝗡𝗨𝗗𝗦𝗚 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀: 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

As fellow Nationalians, the NUD Student Government (NUD SG) stands alongside the student body in facing the challenges brought about by the recent transport fare increases. We understand that this is a pressing concern directly affecting our daily mobility, financial capacity, and overall well-being.

We acknowledge the lapse in communication regarding this matter. We have taken this time to carefully validate information, ensuring our response remains accurate and reflective of the collective experience of the student body.

While these concerns are widely felt, formally documented submissions remain essential. To move forward with an institutional review, we need sufficient participation to build a credible, actionable case before the appropriate authorities.

Rest assured, the NUD SG has already initiated coordination with the appropriate offices to address these difficulties and advocate for student-centered institutional decisions.
