Yesterday marked a meaningful milestone as we successfully conducted our 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗚𝗔𝗗) 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. The session was filled with insightful discussions, active participation, and a shared commitment to promoting awareness, inclusivity, and equality within our academic community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the students who took part in this learning experience. Your openness and engagement truly made the program impactful and worthwhile.

The 1st Quarterly Meeting of Job Placement Officers (JPO), organized by the PESO Provincial Office and DOLE-Cavite, was successfully attended by two representatives from the College Guidance and Counseling Office: Dr. Romelyn C. Saul, SSO Director, and Ms. Jeira A. Boongaling, Guidance Associate.

The meeting was held today, March 31, 2026, at the DOLE Cavite Provincial Office.

This engagement reflects the office’s continued commitment to strengthening partnerships and enhancing career support services for students and graduates.

𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.

With the theme “𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀: 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻,” we spent March 17–21 creating moments that reminded us how important it is to listen, support, and uplift one another.

From engaging activities to heartfelt conversations, every moment reflected our shared goal of building a community where everyone feels safe, valued, and connected.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 | 𝐏𝐂𝐔–𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢ñ𝐚𝐬 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦

“Prevention is better than cure” served as the guiding principle of the Guidance Week Drug Abuse Seminar.

In a collaborative effort, the Guidance and Counseling Office, together with the NSTP and the CCJ Department, welcomed personnel from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) as guest speakers for the event.

The seminar shed light on the dangers of drug use and the laws that govern it, reinforcing awareness and responsibility among students. Anchored on the theme, “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Kalusugan ay Pinapahalagahan, Droga ay Inaayawan,” the discussion emphasized the value of making informed and health-centered choices.

Led by Dr. Romelyn Saul, the Guidance and Counseling Office expressed its hope that the initiative would empower students to think critically, choose wisely, and uphold decisions that will help secure and protect their future.

Through the partnership of 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗰 𝗜 & 𝗜𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗮𝗻, Dasmariñas, we were able to share meaningful moments with our children with disabilities recipients. This initiative, led by the College Guidance and Counseling Office together with the Peer Facilitators Group, and interns, brought smiles and connection through activities facilitated by our peers.
