2nd Quarterly Meeting of Cavite Job Placement Officers

Two Guidance Personnel from the Philippine Christian University–Dasmariñas Guidance and Counseling Office, Dr. Romelyn C. Saul, RGC, RPm, LPT, CRS, and Ms. Jeira A. Boongaling, LPT, attended the 2nd Quarterly Meeting of Cavite Job Placement Officers held on July 22, 2026, at the School Governance Office, Ayuntamiento, De La Salle University–Dasmariñas.

The activity was organized by the Cavite Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region IV-A. The meeting provided an opportunity for Job Placement Officers from various institutions in Cavite to discuss relevant employment and career development initiatives, strengthen professional collaboration, and share updates related to job placement and employment services.

The participation of the Guidance Personnel in this quarterly meeting contributed to strengthening the University's partnership with government agencies and other stakeholders in promoting career development and employment opportunities for students and graduates.

𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀 | The SSO Guidance Department officially kicks off its “Annual SSO Upskilling, Program Alignment for SY 2026–2027, and Self-Care Activity.”

The program began with thoughtful workshops facilitated by our guidance counselors: Mental Health Screening Tools by Sir Spencer Mapute, Psychological Capital by Ma’am Ma. Catrine Durana and Conducting Action Research by Dr. Romelyn Saul.

The afternoon session featured the presentation of annual accomplishment reports, highlighting the guidance services of each department and sharing valuable learnings toward the continuous improvement of the department.

Through continuous learning and shared commitment, the department remains dedicated to fostering a more responsive and supportive academic community.
