Dahil dito, ang Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections sa November 2, 2026 ay hindi na itutuloy. Kinakansela na rin ng COMELEC ang Calendar of Activities, kasama na ang Filing of Certificates of Candidacy mula September 28 hanggang October 5, 2026, pati na rin ang mga kaugnay na Prohibitions on Disbursement of Public Funds, Transfer, Appointment, Promotions, Suspensions, atbp, at ang nakatakdang Election Period simula October 3, 2026.

We may not have lived through the years marked by fear, hardship, and loss during Martial Law, nor witnessed firsthand the sufferings endured by countless Filipinos who fought to preserve their rights and freedoms. But we can still stand in solidarity with them by remembering, honoring, and preserving the lessons of our history.

𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬.

This is not merely an act of commemoration, but a collective commitment to remember the past and ensure that the injustices and sufferings of history are never allowed to happen again.

𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄: This initiative is in accordance with the SWAFO. Students may freely wear black attire for tomorrow. Students who choose to wear black are still expected to observe all applicable provisions and guidelines of the Student Handbook.

Students who choose not to wear black shall wear the prescribed University Uniform. The lifting of the uniform requirement applies only for this day and only to the University Uniform. The collegiate uniform requirement remains applicable.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗜𝗖𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀!

A new chapter begins for the College of Information and Computer Studies! We are thrilled to officially welcome our newly elected Governor and Vice Governor for A.Y. 2026–2027.

In the spirit of full transparency, here is the 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 of the 31 votes casted by our 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀:

𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗢. 𝗡𝗴 steps into leadership with 13 votes (41.94%), while the other candidate received 12 votes (38.71%), and 6 representatives chose to abstain (19.35%).

𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗟. 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗼 secures his seat with 17 votes (54.84%), alongside 11 votes (35.48%) for the other candidate, and 3 representatives choosing to abstain (9.68%).

A massive thank you to all the candidates who stepped up, and to the block representatives who participated and made their voices heard to fulfill their vital roles.
