Faculty delegates from Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) joined the 21st National Health Research Forum for Action (NHRFA) on September 21-24, 2026, at the Workspace Building, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, with the theme “Evidence for Impact: Transforming Health Research for the 21st Century.” Representing KLD were Dr. Regielene Gonzales, Lead of Governance and Implementation; Ms. Sariah Villanueva, Lead of Research Ethics; Mr. Nikko Den Miro, Lead of Sustainability and Development Unit; Ms. Reena Asturias, Program Chair of
BS Nursing; and Ms. Janielle Fajardo, Faculty of BS Medical Laboratory Science.

The four-day forum comprised plenary and parallel sessions that showcased major developments, innovations, and emerging directions in health research. The key areas of discussion were: Health Policy and Systems Research (HPSR), artificial intelligence, innovations in health research, and data-to-policy approaches. Sessions offered opportunities for participants to learn about current research initiatives, new methodologies, and ways to translate research evidence into policies and programs that can lead to better health outcomes.

The presence of KLD faculty delegates provided useful opportunities for professional networking and exchange of knowledge with researchers, policy-makers, health practitioners, and representatives of various institutions. These interactions provided the delegates with insights into current health research priorities and opportunities for collaboration, research engagement, and capacity building.

The Dasmariñas City Government's support made this advancement possible. KLD expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Internationalization and President/College Administrator, Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias for their utmost assistance in furthering the institution's health research, innovation, and policy endeavors.

21st day of September 2026

The KLD community gathered once again for our Flag Raising Ceremony, hosted by the Center for Student Life under the Office of the Vice President for Regal Formation and Student Life, as we begin another week grounded in unity, respect, and shared responsibility.

The Food for Thought centered on Tolerance—a reminder that we do not have to be the same to learn how to respect one another. Within our academic community, we encounter people with different perspectives, beliefs, personalities, cultures, and ways of life. Respect does not always require agreement; it requires recognizing the dignity of others despite our differences.

Tolerance calls us to listen before we judge, understand before we react, and choose respect even when we disagree. Whether in the classroom, organizations, group chats, social media, or our everyday interactions, may we create an environment where differences are met with understanding rather than division.

As we begin another week, may we remember that a strong community is not built by making everyone the same, but by learning to understand, respect, and work with one another despite our differences.

Together, let us continue building a KLD community where respect embraces differences and everyone has a place to belong.

𝐊𝐋𝐃 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐕𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐂𝐒𝐈𝐅𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) proudly represented the institution and the City of Dasmariñas at the 3rd International Conference on Sustainability, Innovation, and Future Technologies (ICSIFT 2026), held on August 21–22, 2026, in Boracay, Philippines. The international gathering brought together educators, researchers, and industry leaders to advance technological innovation, academic exchange, and environmental stewardship.

During the Engineering and Innovative Technologies session, KLD faculty delegate Randolph M. Balleras, together with fellow researchers from the Institute of Computing and Digital Innovation (ICDI), presented the study “A Predictive Learning Analytics Platform with Instructional Intelligence for Monitoring Student Performance Patterns.”

The KLD delegation was composed of ICDI Dean Dr. Ferdinand M. Magtibay, Faculty Researcher Cesar Galingana, Randolph M. Balleras, and Rodel M. Antang. Their participation opened opportunities for meaningful academic discussions, knowledge exchange, and potential international research collaborations in educational analytics.

This milestone was made possible through the funding and financial support of the City Government of Dasmariñas. KLD likewise extends its gratitude to College President Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias and the Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Internationalization for their continued support in advancing the College’s research and innovation initiatives.

Through global academic engagement, KLD continues to strengthen its commitment to research excellence and innovation while proudly representing the Dasmariñeño community on the international stage.
