𝗪𝗨𝗥𝗜 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗔𝗜 @ 𝗗𝗟𝗦𝗨-𝗗: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜

De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) leads the way in responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) through its AI @ DLSU-D program. Guided by UNESCO’s ethical standards, the University has set clear policies to ensure AI use in research, teaching, and administration is transparent, fair, inclusive, and accountable.

The program is run by the School of Innovative and Flexible Learning (SIFL) and its Center for Artificial Intelligence (CAI). Faculty, students, and staff have attended seminars and training sessions on AI in research, syllabus design, and office work. Special guidelines for AI in research are already in place, while those for instruction are being developed with student input.

DLSU-D also hosted the International Conference on AI (ICAI 2026) in February 2026, themed “Educating Ethically with Intelligence and Integrity: AI-Driven Futures in Teaching, Learning, and Research.” This will be an annual event that will bring global AI experts together to discuss responsible AI in education.

𝐃𝐋𝐒𝐔-𝐃 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐂𝐈𝐄 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐬

The DLSU-D community proudly honors the success of two Lasallian topnotchers in the 16th Certified Industrial Engineer Examination held last April.

Engr. Sebastian Errol T. Arquiza secured the first rank with an impressive rating of 89.85, while Engr. Hannah Grace W. Bantilan achieved Rank 2 with a rating of 89.38.

The announcement was made by the Industrial Engineering Certification Board (IECB) through the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE).

This is a truly inspiring achievement.

𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞

The Basic Education Division of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas held its 9th Commencement Exercises at Ugnayang La Salle, marking a fresh milestone for graduating senior high school students.

The formal rites are spread across two days: STEM and ICT strands on May 21 at 1:00 PM, and ABM, HMS, and CuT strands on May 22 at 8:00 AM.

Graduates were formally conferred by University President Br. Iñigo Riola FSC, with BED Principal Marlon C. Pareja presenting the candidates. The rites also included the awarding of academic honors, distribution of diplomas, and a heartfelt Graduate’s Message.
