The Criminology students of PHINMA St. Jude College Dasmariñas, Cavite actively participated in the Basic Life Saving and Disaster Risk Reduction Seminar, centered on the theme: "Empowering Students Through First Aid Knowledge, Preparedness, and Life-Saving Skills."

Established on February 14, 1931, the Correctional Institution for Women was specifically named "Correctional" rather than "Prison" to emphasize rehabilitation over punishment.

👥 Current Population: Over 3,300 inmates in a space built for 1,000–1,500
⚖️ Offenses: ~63.6% are incarcerated for drug-related offenses
🛡️ Staffing: Often managed by only 20 guards on duty per shift
🗓️ Future: Scheduled for full closure by 2028 with relocation to regional facilities

PHINMA St. Jude College - College of Criminal Justice Education proudly highlights the active participation of Dean Ely Aquino, Sgt Charlene Miquiabas PA (Res), and Cpl Keana Sharibell Baltazar PA (Res) at the ROTC Summit 2026, hosted at Bulwagang Makulot, Fernando Air Base, Lipa City.

Representing the 402nd Community Defense Center, she served as panel member for the Field Training Exercise (FTX) Proposal presentation and engaged in key discussions regarding the latest CHED implementation guidelines for NSTP.

We extend our sincere appreciation to LTC NORREL C ALOG OS (GSC) PA, OIC Commander, and TSg Jelden L. Defensor (INF) PA, Chief Clerk, for their steadfast trust and invaluable support.
