We commemorate Ninoy Aquino in recognition of his sacrifice, which came to symbolize bravery, democratic ideals, and how the filipino people endured struggles for freedom.

43 years ago, On August 21 1983, Ninoy Aquino Jr. returned to Philippines despite the risks surrounding his home coming. He was assassinated shortly after his arrival at Manila International Airport, that was thereafter known as 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 (𝐍𝐀𝐈𝐀) in 1987 up to this day.

𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and contributed significantly to the 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟔 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 which ultimately contributed to the end of the administration of Marcos Sr.

For this reason, his legacy continues to be honored today.
